Can we watch remotely , in other way can we see the pictures/ videos by using the mobile application when I am about 3000 miles away from the camera?

No, you must enable the wifi manually from the dash cam and then be within range. There is no actual internet connection to the cam.

I have a minivan. Trying to research all these cameras for the a good one. how long is the cord for the rear camera?

The cable for the rear is about 11-15ft. Pay close attention to the description's length before purchasing when reviewing if you decide to order. However, I would ensure the cable is between 13-15ft’ for a mini van before purchasing. Remember, you can always call the company and get their professional advise and recommendations as well.
