R4-4 Channel Dash Cam W/All Around 1080p Resolution, Wi-Fi, GPS, IR Night Vision, Parking Mode, Collision Detection, Type-C Port

I recently purchased the Rexing R4 for my truck. I have been a Rexing customer for around six years now. I started with the Rexing V1 which was a great camera. I was in a wreck a few years ago and the person tried to say it wasn’t his fault and luckily, I had footage and his insurance company couldn’t argue after I sent it. In saying that, I will never be without a dash cam in my vehicle. They are great for so many different purposes.I bought the Rexing R4 because it can record all sides of the vehicle as well as the inside if you want. A lot of road rage incidents happen beside the vehicle, so I thought this was a nice upgrade. The package comes with everything you need to install it. I opted for the Rexing Smart Hardwire Kit so I could record even when my vehicle is turned off. I prefer this because of vehicle break-ins and even hit and runs with parked cars or other damage that you could receive in parking lots. The install was easy and straight forward. I hid all the cables in trim pieces of my vehicle as well as the side compartment for fuses.The version I purchased came with the CPL filter which helps with glare so I would recommend it. The night vision is good and comes in clear. I always buy the largest card I can so I can get extended viewing in case I leave my car park while at the airport or something along those lines. I also recommend a backup card so you can swap them out if necessary. The largest card it accepts looks like the 256GB microSDXC. It does have a nice feature with collision detection so it will not overwrite an accident and marks it as so. Wi-Fi feature is also nice so you can download videos to your phone without having to take out the card and put it in a computer. Makes transferring files much easier.There is also a GPS feature that can track your speed in case you have to prove how fast you were going in either an accident or a ticket. That feature can be turned on or off. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase and will continue being a Rexing customer.

Where do I begin? I live in an extremely populated area in Florida over a million people in the county (and that's in the off season) and folks can't drive here at all, especially snowbirds / tourists. Having a solid dashcam is a must and if you're in the market for one, this is a SOLID choice. I have had many dashcams in the past and in the brutal heat of the summer here none of them have lasted. The reason being is the fact that most dashcams in the market today utilize a battery backup, soaring temperatures and batteries don't mix well, the heat causes them to swell and in turn destroys the dashcam. Rexing Dash cameras use a capacitor instead, capacitors aren't affected by the intense heat of the Florida sun. The video quality of this dashcam is superior to most that are on the market today, it is easy to install, easy to setup, has tons of features, multiple channels, unaffected by heat and has absolutely fantastic video quality!! Rexing stands behind their product, their customer support team is the best and if you should have any issues they're extremely prompt in helping you after the sale with any questions or concerns you may have. I have owned and gone through many dashcams on the market and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the product in terms of functionality, support and how user friendly it is. If you're in themarket for a dashcam look no further, this is the one you want, trust me!!!

Simply put: Camera with 256GB sd card is great. I would not suggest using any smaller of a storage card for it. It will capture 2-4 days worth of driving if you drive a lot. If only on when driving and you drive less than 1-2 hours a day and buy a 256GB card, you will probably have recordings upwards of a week or more saved before auto-clearing. I personally use this camera with a small refrigerator battery (12v) and easily get 24 hour coverage.Pros:Save file action is very convenient3-way camera excellent coverage and customizationCons:Audio could be better quality but does grab everything as it shouldAccessing SD card requires unmounting camera which isnt difficult at allMobile interface is slow but works nicelyTips for people who purchase:-Save active file will ONLY save the file it’s currently recording. If you have it set to 1 minute loop and you click save at 58 seconds, it will save that 58 seconds and the rest of the minute, but not the following minute. However, with 256GB card you’ll definitely have plenty of time to go in and save the file later.-Using mobile feature can be slow. BE PATIENT. Once camera is paired, for future use, always open app first, then go to wifi and connect and quickly click “connect” in the app. This lowers the chance of your phone disconnecting automatically.Also- videos can take up to a minute before it plays, just be patient, it’ll load. DO NOT use the video time slider, it is faster to watch through the video rather than waiting for it to load the time you selected.Hope this was helpful. If you read through all that, you must be either bored or genuinely considering this product. Either way, good camera. If you don’t like it you can always return it. I’ll personally be coming back for another one later on for my other car.

This thing does a great job at protecting your car all the way around I love the Rexing products made in the United States, however really need an extension cable option for the rear camera it will not fit all the way to the rear. I'm unable to find one.. Should be a recommended option for larger vehicles. The the Wi-Fi option is great to connect your phone but won't stay on what you disconnected so you have to go manually turn it back on. Overall love the camera I'm going to buy four more for my other vehicles. I may have to create a splice cord if I can't find one. Also would be nice to have a save button on the back of the camera instead of underneath hard to find during an emergency, or if you're pulled over.
