Chapter 2 begins on page 13." If you don't find this to be an idiotic and manipulative sales technique, then you should buy more of the products he is using this book to sell. It is the epitome of the high pressure sales techniques I was trying to learn how to avoid. As a former active duty military officer, trust was the currency of leadership, and this person knows nothing about it. The entire book sells himself rather than knowledge. The nice thing about the kindle is being able to highlight. I normally spend my time highlighting good points by authors. This time I spent it highlighting every time he wrote something that sounded overly salesman-ish and reduced my trust in him as an authority - the exact opposite of what he was theoretically trying to teach me to do.
