The Aquor House Hydrant V1+ is a frost-free, quick-connect outdoor faucet crafted from corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel and military-grade polymer. Designed for superior freeze protection—7 times better than brass—it automatically drains and seals to prevent winter damage. Its leak-proof quick-connect system supports all 3/4 inch garden hose accessories, while the slate gray minimalist design complements any outdoor space. Certified to ASSE 1019-A and CSA standards, it comes with a limited lifetime warranty, making it a professional-grade upgrade for modern outdoor plumbing.

## Description

Aquor’s innovative House Hydrant V1+ is a water hose quick connect system. Our garden hose valve is leak-proof, frost-free and aesthetically pleasing. This frost free hose bib is the perfect weekend home improvement project. Upgrade your old outdoor water spigot for the frost free stainless steel V1+ Hydrant or install on new construction. Compatible with PEX plumbing using a shark bite adapter or with use of an optional, Aquor inlet. For use with all your 3/4 spigot lawn equipment including Y-splitters, sprinklers, and more. Includes one vacuum breaker hose connector. ASSE 1019-A & CSA certified.

Review: Great product - Brilliant piece of kit
Review: Streamlined minimalist external appearance - Excellent replacement for unsightly hose tap when installing in visually sensitive locations. Ideal for boats. Adapter on hose opens water valve and has been drip free since installed a few months ago. Note that the threads for plumbing are USA 1/2” NPT (I think its called) and require a brass adapter to UK 1/2” BSPT. I bought a few on *bay from context pneumatics. Only downside is high cost. Recommend that length required is carefully checked to suit location.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I know what size I need?**
A: Our hydrants follow industry-standard sizing. Size will be determined by your spigot location and siding type. Typically, for plumbing connections in-wall you'll need a 2", 4", or 6". For a basement or crawlspace, you'll need a 8", 10", or 12".

**Q: Can I install the Aquor House Hydrant myself?**
A: Yes! Installing the Aquor House Hydrant is similar to replacing a standard spigot. It’s an easy DIY project as long as you have basic plumbing knowledge and tools. Fits any siding.

**Q: What’s the difference between the House Hydrant V1+ and V2+?**
A: House Hydrant V1+: Circular entry hole for easier retrofits and external vacuum breaker. House Hydrant V2+: Oval entry hole, ideal for new construction, includes built-in vacuum breaker.

**Q: Is the Hydrant freeze-proof and winter-ready?**
A: To ensure proper drainage and winterization, it's best to unplug your connector from the hydrant after each use, especially during the cold months. The connector can stay attached to your hose; just be sure to depressurize the hose before storing.

**Q: What does it mean to have backflow protection?**
A: Devices like vacuum breakers and check valves prevent dirty water from flowing back into your home's water supply. Plumbing codes vary by location, so check local regulations to determine which backflow prevention devices are required.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding and discreet outdoor tap
*by J***Y on 20 May 2025*

I am extremely happy with our Aquor House Hydrant V1+! It's outstanding and I couldn't find anything like it on the market. It's evidently built from high quality materials that will last. We live in the UK with a brick house on a pedestrianised street so we didn't want a typical outdoor tap. This one is very discreet and noone will know what it is. I'd highly recommend it! The only thing I will mention is that when we hired a plumber, it took them longer than anticipated to install it as it is a unique outdoor tap. Also, it didn't seem to work with an additional dual-check valve which the plumber ended up removing (so I'd mention this to your plumber to speed-up troubleshooting). However, this is not an issue as there is built-in backflow prevention within this unit/the hose attachments. Finally, I'd recommend buying the plastic Hozelock "threaded tap connector" size 26.5mm / 3/4", as the metal one did not fit the hose attachment.
