Fabricoat Fabric Paint & Upholstery Dye, Green, Flexible Finish

SO pleasantly surprised by this fabric paint! It took 2 coats but it looks even and the previous sun bleached (and slightly campfire scorched) fabric looks good as new. I highly recommend if you have some outdoor cushions that need a revamp. I just used a paintbrush to paint it on - super easy. They were a sun bleached peach color before and this green covered it well.

16 cushions covered! I had serious doubts that 1 bottle would do the job, but was pleasantly surprised. There isn't enough for touch ups, but who cares that awful much when these are outside and the dogs will get on them anyway.

Overall, I love the paint! I started out with 3-500ml bottles. That covered one coat of half of the sectional (not including the back). The sectional has grooves that are difficult to get into. At first I sprayed a small amount of water over the area before painting. It was very challenging. For the second half of the sectional I ordered the largest container. I added two dryer sheets to my water bottle (because I did not have fabric softener ;)! I used warm water and applied a heavier amount of water to the second part of sectional. I also ordered the little brush to help relax the fibers because it was a bit crunchy. Needless to say! Using more water with a little softener made a huge difference. I also noticed that the paint in the larger container seemed a bit darker. So, when I'm ready to do my second coat I will order two of the larger containers. For now I will enjoy the new color as is. I'm satisfied with the one coat but, I will be happier with the additional coat. I'm sure it will take away the streaks of light discoloration.

[Raspberry] Worked pretty good. I painted a brand new microfiber/velour king size headboard (it's a Modway headboard in the very light gray color). I used a spray bottle and sprayed it down generously before applying and used a paintbrush to apply. It took about 45 minutes to get each coat and two coats used 75% of the large bottle. The color was pretty inconsistent with the first coat but the fabric was still kind of soft after, but the fabric definitely changed with the second coat (it is no longer 'brushable'? or soft like most velvet or microfiber is). I'm not sure how I'd feel about this if it was a chair I'd sit in but thankfully I painted a headboard that won't be touched. I was less concerned with keeping the texture of the frabric and more concerned with the headboard being this color - 5 stars for color, 3 stars for changing the fabric - 4 stars over all.

my chairs were a l ight velvet but the paint rubbed off and it did not go on even , i read it was good to spray water so it would soak up but still i tried scotchguard to and sealer and i finally tossed the chairs , don't use on velvet unless your ready to spend alot the standard bottle and the double size is used about 4 bottles worth and it was not worth it , try it one but for velvet google said put some water on the fabric to soak and on here it said do not use water . i'm not sure i would try again I used the blue on yellow chairs and it was pretty teal but not good enough, i wish i would have used fabric spray from another brand for exterior chairs and this brand doesn't have it that i know of i gave up and got me new chairs and tossed the others ones there was no way i was gonna keep going as a former designer and faux finish artist I would not go for this, besides i installed new wood plank tiles i black and i preferred to find a deal on ebay for white bar stools with wood iwas better off. , this paint did not go on even and i had the best brush perhaps it works on regular fabric.

If your fabric is faded from the sun; don’t be scared this stuff works like paint and puts a little upgrade to your furniture without the huge price. A tip for cost savings is use this for the cushions you sit on because it stays soft and adds a little hint of color in even the first coat. And then the borders and sides of the couch buy acrylic paint and paint those areas you don’t sit on. The acrylic paint is stiffer but it also gives a starch to the fabric so pillow cushions are easier to fluf. The first photo shows light green the second is the dark green. I like the light green it looks richer like a chartreuse color. The original color was an olive gray green but it faded and just looked sad.

The color is as close as I have ever seen to the blue color of the US Army dress blue uniform coat. It is beautiful. The instructions for applying this dye are simple to follow, and are straightforward in directness. Good product. Be sure to wear disposable gloves when applying.

This product works but if you have stains it will not be even. I had accidentally used Clorox and those bleach stains show even after two coats. My son suggested primer🤦🏽‍♀️3 coats later 😩

La livraison s’est également très bien passée, avec un colis arrivé dans les délais annoncés et en parfait état. Bref, très bonne surprise ! Produit de qualité, pratique, efficace et conforme à la description. Je suis entièrement satisfait de mon achat et je le recommande sans hésitation à ceux qui cherchent quelque chose de fiable et de bonne qualité. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Attention, la couleur ne correspond pas à du marron, mais plutôt du rouge foncé qui vire au brun très clair en séchant…

No cubre bien, dimos 3 pasadas y seguía sin cubrir, no sé si sea el material o el tipo de tela. Pero se absorbía

Excelente producto y fácil de usar !!! Solo humedece lo que vayas a pintar y con una brocha lo aplicas, así como viene solo bates y listo.
