I've been wearing Converse for years because I find them so comfortable but have always been slightly disappointed by their durability. With this pair the black fabric is thicker than any before so I'm hoping the overall quality has been improved.These shoes are not waterproof so if caught in a heavy shower your feet will get wet.My feet are on the wide side so I always buy a half size larger for a better fit.

Absolutely fantastic. These are, yes, genuine, completely legitimate converse shoes. No, they aren't fake, they are 100% real, and have no defects whatsoever. If your rider had defects on it I can completely assure you it occurred when it was shipped. Otherwise, these shoes are of brilliant quality, and they are not used, as some reviews have stated they are, well, they're completely and utterly incorrect. Now, many are complaining about the size and how it is supposedly a size up in length. I didn't notice and when measured didn't find a difference in size. I believe they are of the correct sizing, however yet again that is completely up to me to decide. Measurement wise, they seem to be ok also. All up, I recommend these for any Converse or shoe lover, they are a great fit and feel, and have an overall satisfaction.
