This headset is much better than the 300.

Hard to find anything better than BlueParrot. My B250XT lasted well over a decade. The previous model to this one still works, but doesn't mesh well with my newer cell phone and constantly looses connection. The receiver on the other end of your call can hear you clearly in hurricane style winds with the C400-XT. I've tried to find an in-ear bluetooth headset that would silence wind noise and finally surrendered returning to the BlueParrot brand. They're big and bulky, but quality of their headsets is absolutely the BEST!

Wish I could leave 0 stars. Horrible product and worse support. Every 2-3 weeks or so, the 500-MX goes crazy. It constantly lowers the volume to just above 0. I have spoken with Blue Parrot on multiple occasions and the tech support is disgustingly bad. Their answer to everything is to hard reset the earpiece and reinstall the APP. Then it works for another 2-3 weeks and have to do it again. I spoke to a "would you like fries with that" level of technician and he totally blew me off. As a tech for over 40 years, I have recommended Blue Parrott many times. NEVER AGAIN.. DO NOT BUY

Quick and easy pairing. Does not offer voice commands to answer. I like it so far and has good noise cancelling abilities.

I'm a truck driver locally and this headset is perfect for my needs. I do wish it was a little louder sometimes, but it's better than my earbuds I was using. Everyone on the other end has said they can hear me clearly even when standing outside next to a running truck.

Updated 5/2/2024 I have this for about 2 weeks now and I have discovered some issues. Reduced to 3 stars due to these major issues. (1) The Blue Parrot button does not work. I followed instructions, downloaded the Android app, programmed the button to mute/unmute. It did nothing. Good thing I tested it first before using it on a real call. (2) There's suddenly a constant and very audible click about 1 second apart in the audio. Possibly from some type of interference. But I didn't have that issue with my old BlueParrot headset. (3) Does not work consistently when paired with multiple devices. I paired with my work laptop and personal phone. When I tried to use it with my phone, it shows as "connected for calls and audio" but neither the audio or the microphone works. Original review: I have used several BlueParrott in the past including B350-XT, B450XT. I was hesitant to get this more lightweight, less expensive version but it's working great so far. The audio is very clear. Noise cancellation works just as well as the other headsets. I have light music playing in the background and the other calls only hear my voice not the music. The only slightly negatives are old style USB connection instead of USB-C and perhaps long-term durability could be a problem but I just received the headset so I can't speak to that yet.

I had an old Plantronics ear piece that I loved but I lost it. After spending quite a few hours comparing products I purchased this item to replace it and I am really disappointed. The sound isn’t bad but that’s the only positive. The voice controls don’t always work, it doesn’t fit comfortably on my ear (forget trying to wear with sunglasses!) and it sometimes falls off. My old headset would tell you how much talk time you had left, this one gives no warning that the battery is low, it just suddenly stops working. These are all important features for me so I will probably keep looking for an adequate replacement for my old one (which unfortunately they no longer make).

I finally have a wireless headset free of excessive noise for my call listener. In the past I was constantly updating to over come the problems of the Jabra and Plantronics wireless headsets microphone noise. I now believe the Parrot has looked at the problems and mastered them head on. With age comes hearing loss, I am able to hear people better as well. I could not get any more volume out of the plantronics or jabra wireless headsets. and on enquiry, they would say it is set to the maximum volume that will not cause hearing loss. Well dandy! but what happens to us whom have lost the peak of their hearing? As you don't make sign language head sets, how did they expect to cover this percentage of the population? How stupid! I am not deaf, but clarity of speach is of importance as I get older. A change had to happen on how the wireless headset company thought about their design, I believe Blue Parrot has achieved that. I am not a beneficiary of any financial gain from this review. I am an ex-trumpet player whom sat in front of the trombones, which was like sitting next to the fog horn on the Queen Mary ship! I have lost my peak hearing!

Top end product don't think I'll ever buy anything else ..
