Nice pump but inlet opening is 1" not 1 1/4"

Small but for the garden. It works
Great for gardens, streams, ponds and shallow wells. Great water pump for its smaller size!If I had a mountain cabin. I would get Two of them!Great invention for its design.

Not Really What It Is Portrayed To be
This is described to be for 1.25" pipe but that is not correct or accurate. The threading diameter is 1.25" for a pipe that is 1.25" in diameter wide, but typically shallow well pipe is described as 1.25" for the nominal diameter or the inside, not outside. So a standard 1.25" galvanized steal pipe for a shallow well will not fit this pump. I'm going to have to fine a pipe fitting that will take an actual 1.25" pipe down to whatever an outter diameter that is compatible. Buyer beware. This is exactly what it seems and is misleading. There are tons of these being sold by various sellers all over different vendor sights and the description is wrong for all of them.

I could not get it to work.
With a shallow well, I pumped and pumped and got no water. I made sure their where no air leaks. It now sits in my garage.

Terrible not as advertised
Inlet is 1" not 1.25". I bought the part to adapt it. Then found a hole in the welding so suction wasn't air tight. Piece of crap and wrong description.
