I bought this in conjuction with the normal size tailor's ham. This item is essential for pressing smaller curved items for example cuffs, sleeves and tote bags.The item is slender. Length is abour 30cm. Weight is less that 0.4kg.It is well made and nice and easy to work with and it's a tool that I will be using again and again.

Quality and value plus great delivery time, what’s not to like

Having read some reviews about tailor's hams .I was concerned about buying one that was stuffed with polyester and therefore too soft and not fit for purpose but was pleased to find that this ham is solid so will be great for ironing new sleeve seams when dressmaking. Would have liked it to be a bit longer but it will still do the job.

Bought this for my sister who makes a lot of toys and she was delighted.

Never used one before but after making a dress with gathered sleeves I wish I had brought one before. Makes pressing so much easier. Would definitely recommend.

Have been wanting one of these for a while. Looking on internet, there are a few to choose from, but these are filled solid with traditional sawdust. So should last and not go out of shape. Some just have a fabric stuffing inside and are a bit cheaper.

My wife does a lot of dressmaking/haberdashery stuff, most of which I don't understand but am happy to acknowledge is far more skillful with a needle than I'll ever be. She asked for this and the 'ham' shaped one for presents and who am I to refuse?She won't stop going on about how good they both are. They seem to be stuffed with sawdust or something but whatever it is is firm yet has a little give in it to ease the pressing of seams etc. They certainly do make quite a difference, I haven't herd her swear once doing sleaves and the like since she started using them and that can only be a good thing.They seem pretty well made and will probably last her a lifetime unless my 2 yr old daughter gets hold of them.Thanks Sew Easy, my kids won't grow up swearing now :)

This is a good product and easy to use. Can't comment on price as this was the only one I looked at.

I like everything about it. I am a quilter who helps with seam pressing. The quality is excellent well made. No loose threads tightly. Solid mold seams.
