Is this tape sticky on just 1 side when you iron it onto a streatchy fabric?

Iron on using light pressure; apply to necklines, shoulders or anywhere you don't want the fabric to stretch. It has a light glue on one side. Gives fantastic results and stops necklines from curling. Good luck.

How does it feel against the skin in the finished garment - is it scratchy or soft? Thanks

Hi, this product is not for collars, cuffs or front of shirts. Its a support system for stretchy seams. A bit like a ribbon but when you iron it on it sticks and stops the seams from over stretching. I use it on lightweight jersey fabric or t-shirt material at the neck line, shoulder seams and sleeve edges. Follow the instructions and you will be happy with the results.

Is this tape invisible. Ie can I use it on dark fabrics and or doesn’t show a white stripe?

It's not invisible but it very fine. I believe you can buy invisible tape.

Has anyone used this tape on silk fabric.

Yes, to stabilise shoulder seams and neck line. Suggest you try a sample patch on a scrap first.
