A really nice and well made knife. Very sharp, it has a nice handle that feels good in the hand.

This is a serious piece of kit. The knife looks good, has some weight to it, heavier than any of my other knives. Very sharp out of the box. Used a few times now and it's still holding its edge. It's big but can still give you very fine slices. I think this is going to out last all my other knives. To sum up the term "This is not a toy" fit's. Take care using it and it's going to last you a lifetime.

I was hesitant to spend this much on a knife but honestly, I now want every knife in my kitchen to be exactly like this. Makes food preparation sooo much easier. Comfortable, stays sharp, easy to use and clean. Lovely weight to it that saves having to push hard to chop anything - meat, veg, fruit. Will be buying more to replace all the other cheaper knives I've bough over the years that let me down.

The blade is extremely well made. You can see the Damascus pattern quite clearly with the layers beautifully grinded back on the knife edge. The raindrop pattern are again crafted nicely on it. The blade is razor sharp. Slices effortlessly through whatever your cutting. Well balanced knife. Good grip on the handle, nicely done love the shape. Finished very well. Now I'm gonna be picky; personally I would of liked the width of the handle to be a tad smaller width way's. The blade width a tiny bit thin, a little flex to it but the razor sharp edge compensates for this minor production. Hence dropping a star. It is a well crafted knife, in a great presented box. Anyone given this as a gift or to use in a kitchen would be delighted and impressed with the manufacturer's build quality and presentation. Will be trying their other products as well. Not tested it's longevity yet.

This knife is excellent - having gotten fed up of our other dull blades and only a couple of good Zwilling 4* holding their own: we needed something decent to add to the collection and make cooking joyful again. It looks beautiful, but its super power is cutting. Slices through a cooked chicken with ease, bone and all. Veg no problem. Just make sure you adjust to your new blade powers and ensure good finger disapline needed for sharp blades!

The size and the weight of this beautiful beast is absolutely perfect. It rolls beautifully and comes absolutely sharp as a tack proving perfect functionality. I cannot fault this beautiful life at all and is a real testament to knifes. I use this this thing for everything showing beautiful durability for the price. The whilst is perfectly balanced also which provides beautiful safety in terms of how this product is made. Thank you

bought this as a Christmas gift, and this is VERY sharp. first thing we did was test it's with slicing paper, then tomatoes... it handled both with ease, and is still the sharpest knife we've got today (2 months later). It has a nice weight, and feels very balanced. Very beautiful design, looks much better than the pictures!

It's early days as I've only had it a month, but I've used it just about every day for my home cooking. Cards on the table - I'm a vegan, so have only used it on veg and other processed vegan ingredients like tofu and fake cheese, but it's been fantastic so far on everything, from peeling a tough butternut squash to finely dicing a shallot, and everything inbetween. It's really comfortable to use and razor sharp! I've had to slow down and be much more careful with my safe chopping technique as it's such a good edge! I'll hopefully be OK keeping it that way as I've got a whetstone with a 15 degree guide to sharpen it, but I've not needed to do anything as yet.

Aparte de que se ve muy padre con esa impresión tipo Damascus, resiste muy bien el filo d su hoja, ya tengo varios días usándolo diario y sigue cortando muy bien, esperemos que dure mucho tiempo

Habe mir das Santoku und das Brotmesser zum vergünstigten Preis Anfang März `26 gegönnt. Ein wie ich finde bemerkenswertes Damastmuster, das nicht aufdringlich ist und eine beeindruckende Schärfe out of the Box. Das Schneiden verschiedener Zutaten macht Spaß und Man(n) ist enttäuscht das die Schnippelarbeiten so schnell abgeschlossen sind. Ich habe die Messer noch einmal mit einer Tormek getunt und die Schneiden poliert und konnte eine beeindruckende Schärfe von unter 130 BES erreichen. Insgesamt bieten diese Messer zum Angebotspreis ein beeindruckendes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Der einzige, aber von mir als Mann nicht so sehr ins Gewicht fallende Kritikpunkt, ist das aus Sicht meiner Frau etwas höhere Gewicht dieser Messerlinie von Shan Zu. Alles in allem sind das wunderschöne Klingen die eine außerordentliche Performance abliefern. Zu schön um sie in einem geschlossenen Messerblock zu verstecken.
