In addition to this, we recently moved house and now have to have the cat litter box in the kitchen (I know, not ideal). I was really impressed with the Catit Style Hooded Cat Litter Tray. The delivery was really prompt and I was pleased with the quality of the product. It was sufficently packaged and there were instructions for putting the box together attached to the lid. It's really easy to put together... just put the lid on, fasten the sliding catches (though this is not necessarily a must if you do not plan to lift the litter tray by the handle and move it somewhere else) and then fill with cat litter. There is a transparent cat flap that allows the cats to get in and out of the box easily - and gives them some privacy (which is important to my cat). If your cat doesn't like this feature, you simply flip the lid up onto the top of the box - so the entrance is clear, but the cat still has privacy provided by the roof. It is a good sized litter tray. Millie weighs about 5kg and is quite fluffy and she has plenty of room to move about in the box/tray. Cleaning out the litter tray is easy too. I don't use tray liners, but clean out the tray 1-2 times a day. I hook a plastic bag into the little "catches" at the front of the tray (bottom section). They bag stays open and in place - so you don't end up with dirty litter all over the floor. Clumping litter is brilliant and works well in the litter tray. All in all... a great purchase and fantastic value for money. 5/5 from all the family, 2-legged and 4-legged. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a low odour litter tray for a cat who likes to throw litter out of the box. Review: Litter tray - Great litter tray. Quite large ## Features - Cat litter box with roof: blue/white/grey - Easy to clean; stain resistant - Durable and hygienic - Complete with carbon filter and swing door ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001G0FHY2 | | Best Sellers Rank | 1,251 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) 5 in Cat Litter Boxes | | Brand | Catit | | Brand Name | Catit | | Colour | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 27,426 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00022517507018, 10022517507015, 20022517507012 | | Included Components | Catit Hooded Cat Litter Pan - Blue | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 57L x 46.5W x 39H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Litter Box | | Item Weight | 500 g | | Item weight | 500 g | | Litter Box Type | Covered Litter Box | | Manufacturer | Rolf C Hagen UK Ltd | | Manufacturer Part Number | 50701 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 50701 | | Pet Type | Cat | | Product dimensions | 57L x 46.5W x 39H centimetres | | Size | 57L x 46.5W x 39H cm | | Smart Home Compatibility | Not Smart Home Compatible | | Special Features | Deodorising, Easy to Clean, Easy to Use, Hygienic, Inbuilt Filter | | Style | Cat Pan | | Target Species | Cat | | UPC | 022517507018 | | Unit Count | 1 count | | With Lid | Yes | ## Product Details - **Colour:** Blue - **Brand:** Catit - **Size:** 57L x 46.5W x 39H cm - **Material:** Plastic - **Product dimensions:** 57L x 46.5W x 39H centimetres - **Item weight:** 1.1 Pounds - **Style:** Cat Pan - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00022517507018, 10022517507015, 20022517507012 - **Manufacturer:** Rolf C Hagen UK Ltd - **UPC:** 022517507018 ## Images ![Catit Style Hooded Cat Pan/Litter Tray/Litter Box, 57L x 39W x 46.5H ,blue - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71xE1RaT2AL.jpg) ![Catit Style Hooded Cat Pan/Litter Tray/Litter Box, 57L x 39W x 46.5H ,blue - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51J77fQ4USL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cat Toilet fit for a King *by S***B on 4 June 2014* I invested in a slightly more "sophisticated" cat toilet for my moggy, as she was a dab hand at either flinging copious amounts of cat litter out of the box after going in it or, in the worst cases, missing the box alltogether (a trifle messy!!). Quite large ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good, but with a few niggles *by T***K on 27 June 2014* delivered promptly and well packaged. on assembling it, i felt the bottom tray was rather flimsy; but when filled with a few inches of cat litter, it was fine. it's a BIG box - both in width and height - and that's good for cats, who like to turn round a bit when they're covering their poo up. pale grey and white: nice neutral pale colours. it has a ledge (part of the base) just inside the door end, extending an inch or two into the box itself, and this has rather a sharp edge. however, it doesn't seem to present any problems, and in fact has stopped my cat from doing her usual thing of standing inside the box, reaching outside it and shredding the newspaper underneath. she just can't quite reach! ;-) i wasn't at all impressed with the square of black stuff (like a nylon sink scrubber) wedged into the lid. it wouldn't seem to me to be either useful as ventilation, since there's no way you could breathe through it, or as a deodoriser. as some buyers have said, it's an invitation to a curious cat: to take it apart - and my worry would be that they would catch their claws in it, and be unable to detach: could be really dangerous. remove it! and replace with a square of cardboard, or cork tile, if you don't want a hole in the lid. the sliders which hold the lid to the base are a good idea: less likely to break than the usual snap fastening flaps. not sure how much i'd trust them, if lifting the box up when it was full of cat litter, though. like any responsible cat owner, i immediately removed the plastic swing door: who wants to trap a cat inside a litter box with all that dust? no wonder some cats have lung problems. don't use the door, but stand the box so that the open end faces a wall (a foot or so out from the wall) and your dust problem will be minimal. what do you value most - your cat's lungs, or a bit of dust on surfaces, which can be easily hoovered? all in all a good large box, but with a star removed for the nasty unnecessary piece of black nylon stuff. ## Frequently Bought Together - Catit Style Hooded Cat Pan/Litter Tray/Litter Box, 57L x 39W x 46.5H ,blue - CATSAN - Hygiene Plus Non-Clumping Adult Cat Litter and Kitten Litter - 20L - 100% Natural and Absorbent - Catit Magic Blue Ammonia Buster - Reduces Urine Odour and Smells for a Fresh Cat Litter Box --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/50839915-catit-style-hooded-cat-pan-litter-tray-litter-box-57l](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/50839915-catit-style-hooded-cat-pan-litter-tray-litter-box-57l) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
