This might sound like a dumb question, and i apologize in advance but can i use this on my sleek straight hair? I am a caucasian female. thank you

Hello, it's not a dumb question.  Caucasian hair gets dry too.  The product penetrates the hair shaft to provide the moisture needed and seems to have the oil in it.  So you may not have to use as much but I think your hair will like it. Now I'm not a scientist and each head of hair is different so you may have different results.  Much success!

I usually apply leave-in conditioner before I blow dry and flat iron my damp hair. Is it safe to use this?

Yes, but you shouldnt flat iron damp hair . The steam will wreck your hair

Will it help bring back my heat damaged curls?

Try Olaplex, it's a new product that actually adds back to molecular damage. Its 3 steps but 1 & 2 are for the salon, so 3 you can just use at home. Some say prices are better on their website, but. 3.3 oz here I found for $22. Anyways look at the reviews! So many of them are about astonishing return of once fried curls! Castor oil by itself on the scalp or even for over plucked brows is said to restore growth, I used it once and my scalp felt amazing. I haven't used this product yet but hope it has great results. According to the reviews it's great, but Olaplex isn't a conditioner, it's a scientific restoration of damaged hair.

I wear braids. Is it okay if I use this after shampooing my hair without using a rinse out conditioner?
