Pro Linea UPVC Door Handles Set Lever/Lever White 92pz - 122mm Screw to Screw - Upvc Door Handle - Modern Design

Having just fitted a new Yale "Doormaster Adjustable" multi lock to our conservatory door, I decided to renew the lock cylinder and (these) handles at the same time. They can be fitted on Left or Right handed doors, if as stated,your top fixing screw is located below the handle-lever, and providing the distance between the 2 fixing screws are 122mm, and the centre of handle-spindle to the centre of the cylinder barrel (pz) is 92mm then these handles will fit. The faceplate measures 246mm X 30mm, it's made from stainless steel and is painted white as are the securing screw heads. One word of caution, although the handles are well made, "do not overtighten the fixing screws" as this may cause small indentations on the faceplates. Its also a good idea to lubricate the moving parts on the backs of the faceplates before fitting. The handles can be fitted as "unsprung", or as "sprung" by simply inserting the encased springs. One of my reasons for purchasing these handles was that the 30mm width of the faceplate covers up the blemishes on the door left by our old handles. The only handles that I found localy all had narrower (25mm -28mm) faceplates. Much to my surprise, these, and another handle set that I ordered from HomeSecure were both delivered in less than 24hrs!

Very easy and straightforward to install. No instructions needed as it is no more complicated than changing a lightbulb. These handles come with internal spindle springs (two, one for each handle) which help return the handle to the horizontal position each time the handle is used. Some have stated that they have had to cut the spindle and screws to fit their doors. You could always use the old screws and spindles as they already fit. I replaced my old brushed steel handles for two of these because my old handles were really sagging. These new handles now match the white upvc doors perfectly. I have seen the same handles on many other sites for £20 and more, so these represent reasonable value in my opinion. The old handles were 15 plus years old. Only time will tell if these new handles will stand the test of time. They look good and perform really well. I shall post an update review in 15 years........

They fitted job done

Replaced my doorhandles with perfection. A lighter weight than the ones I removed, but do the job perfectly. For some reason, the bolt in the bottom of the handle would not locate but I just use the old bolt here, which was slightly longer thann the ones included. Prior to fitting, both handles swap from left right to suit your needs.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the heavy quality of this handle set, far superior to the original set fitted. This set includes an optional spring booster unit to return the handles to the rest position, many handle sets rely on the door mechanism to return them to rest - giving the handles the "droopy, tired" look. Fitting was very easy, only a couple of minutes. I added a smear of silicone grease to the handle pivot points, this improved the smoothness of operation. The backplates were slightly deeper than the originals, this had the bonus of rendering the lock barrel flush with the new backplates - making it even harder for the ungodly to attack the lock. Another nice touch is the securing screws are painted white, they are virtually invisible when fitted. I'm absolutely delighted with these handles - I'll be back for more for my other two exterior doors. Delivery and packaging were Amazon's usual first class standard.

Solid and well made fitting measurements were spot on for my conservatory door.

Good value handles. I paid just under £10 for a pair. I bought 2 pairs. One to replace an existing pair of handles and the other as a dummy handle for the other door to allow the use of a Patlock locking bar. Had to start from scratch as the door needed the holes drilling. Drilled 2 holes 12mm diameter for the screws to be bolted through which was easy enough. The handles on these are sprung so there was no need to fit the attached connecting bar that connects the 2 handles together as its not going to be used with a latch. Supplied with 2 connecting bars and 3 pairs of differing length bolts to cater for different door thucknesses. I had to cover the key holes already cut in them as they aren't required. ( was difficult to source handles without keyholes cut out in them) I have attached a few photos to show the finished item.

Looking at previous reviews there are all five stars with a solitary four star so why am I only give it a three star review? The product is exactly as described and I meticulously checked all the measurements. However the width range of the doors it fits isn't given and to me this is a major oversight. It took me two mins to take off my old handles and a further fifteen minutes to realise that some of the parts did not fit. There are two long square "bars" of different lengths which are supplied and the short one meant that if it slipped towards one side then that handle would not engage. The long one was too long and meant the handles did not fit flush and would have rattled when i screwed it in place. In the end I had to hacksaw off about 5mm off the long one. The other problem was that the shorter screws were too short and the longer ones were too long. I was about to hacksaw off some off the longer screws when I thought I wouldn't try my old screws which fortunately fitted perfectly. I could understand if I had imported my door or it was hand made for me but it was fitted as standard by a very large house builder and our house is only ten years old. It does seem surprising that I am the only one who has experienced this so far but I thought it was worth mentioning in a review.

Aucune difficulté pour remplacer l’ancienne poignée. Très bon produit, différentes tailles de vis, je recommande vraiment cette article, idéal pour un remplacement.

Leider kann ich nichts Gutes schreiben. Da der Türgriff nicht passte und daher nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprach, haben wir ihn zurück gesendet. Leider gibt es bis zum heutigen Tag (02.04.2016) keine Rückerstattung der fast 20,00 EUR für den Türgriff. Das ist schon eine negative Erfahrung.
