Indeed, this study Bible is worth the wait for me. Many new dimensions and totally different points of view and very easily understandable of the Word of God. Worth the buy.

best Bible ever!It literally is worth buying! It also comes with additional extras, very handy and not as heavy as other Bibles.

If you're doing any major studying of the Bible, I highly recommend a Study Bible to help. The Holy Spirit is the ultimate authority of help on explaintion of the Scriptures it just helps to clarify in your mind when using a Study Bible. A good study Bible can help you with: background information, where it happened, location in maps, a good index, a topical index, and all the other odd which features of a trusted study guide. This Study bible has all this and more. It is also one of the few ESV based study guides with the words of Christ in red - a must have for me! This I would recommend to anyone that wants to know what's in the bible without anyone's slant or private branding! Charles C. Ryries notes are clear, concise, very explanatory and lack doctrinal sway that many other study bibles are riddled with! (The big reason I went with the Ryrie instead of the MacAurthur study bible and dont get me wrong, I believe what MacAurthur believes... but in my bible I'd like a bit less notes with someone telling me what they believe). I purchased the hardback because I am notoriously tough on bibles and need the protection. The color maps, the concordance, the index....are all added bonuses to an already great bible! Also, this thing has 80,000 crossreferences like the ESV classic reference bible! Nobody every stresses how important that is as one could study the bible via crossreferences only and gather meaning of passages through that - this means you could essentially say okay, forget what he's saying, what do the cross references that only show Gods words to explain Gods words! I forgot....it comes with a free download code to Wordsearch 10 which is over a $300.00 value that comes with the KJV, and the same study notes as this study bible! Buy it now!

God's Word is absolutely marvellous. It is not a man's message; but what the Lord has given to us to read, to feed on and thereby take in. The more we are open to Him, allowing Him to have His way, the more we grow. We should walk before Him every moment of every day, which by implication means in every area of our lives.As always with His word we should not just hear it but take it in, only then will we live by it. We must NOT just allow His word to effectively just be an instruction book, but be open to Him so that the Spirit of God makes it alive, then it will not only be in you but by allowing Him to have His way He can work through you; making you as He wants you to be.I am very, very pleased with this copy of His Word; I think it was an extremely good purchase.
