You can purchase scotty mount pads that will also work with Brocraft. The base pads are the same and are compatible scotty mount bases.

Is this motor mount rail system removable with a quick release button? Or is it permanently attached to the glued on pads?

It is quick disconnect and just leave the adhered mounts. Kayak still folds up nicely.

what is the maximum width of the boat it will work with?

my kayak is 3' wide, and the Brocraft works on my kayak. test it before mounting the brackets. they are flexible. so, you shouldn't have issues.

My inflatable sup is the blackfin model v xl, 12.6 x 32 inches x 6 inches thick. can i mount this on it?
