Good cheap DIY repair.
This item is ideal for a cheap windscreen chip repair. It has considerably hidden the 'bullet' type chip that I have on my vehicle. I would expect a professional window repair company, Would be able to make a better repair. However, It is a very good DIY option. I would use the product again. Rating the percentage of damage visible before repair as 100%, I would say it is now taken the visibility of damage down to about 20%. So a huge improvement and now smooth to touch from outside vehicle.

Anyone can do this and save money repairing their windscreen if they follow the instructions
I had a reasonably large chip to repair. I had not tried these types of kit before so was totally new for me Overall my experience was excellent. The instructions were clear and I confused and the process is not simple to do. There are a couple of main stages and a wait between for curing and some post trimming of the repair so make sure you have some time to do this as it’s not a one process application Repair looked reasonably good and certainly reinforced my windscreen damage. It’s been a few months now and forgot it’s even there so must have done the job satisfactorily Highly recommended

The kit is easy to use
After having a bullseye chip on the windscreen, I found the permetex kit easy to use. Although you can still see the impact mark, it’s nice and smooth with the bullseye almost completely repaired. Pleased with the result.

Great product, Works well and fixes multiple chips
Great product, Works well and fixes multiple chips. This is half way between an open chip and a professional fix. It leaves the surface smooth and shrinks the visible size of the chip. Easily fixes 3 or more chips.

Don't bother
Followed instructions to ensure pad was secured correctly, but soon as pressure was applied via syringe resin leaked out everywhere. Was easier to apply the resin straight to the chip and add plastic finishing strip, then polish once hardened.

Absolutely unhappy
This product it’s absolutely you drop Your money in the bin I’m really unhappy I’m really sorry for my self for this product I’m not suggesting too no one this rubbish,
