I bought this as I required a protractor for a geology module of mine. I am fed up with buying cheap protractors where the markings rub off and the protractor snaps. This is a far superior item. The plastic is thicker than normal, but still perfectly transparent giving it a quality, robust feel. The cross hairs at the centre have a tiny pin hole at the centre allowing for precise positioning. The ruler bit at the bottom is a nice addition and saves you having to carry a separate small ruler.Overall, this protractor is perfect for my needs and seems robust enough to survive much longer than a cheaper alternative.

I bought both the centro 25cm and the 32cm as a gift for my wife who is into geometric design and Islamic architecture, which requires very precise and accurate point placement. seeing how much she was struggling with parallel lines, I went and ordered these for her knowing I was buying the best there is. the Rotring brand is well known among artists and architects and I remember some of my architect friends using it for their drawings. it did not disappoint. my wife was elated by how accurate and precise it was. great product all in all.

Sturdy set, quite large, perfect for what i needed

I used to have a set of French Curves but over the years a couple became brittle and snapped so I bought these as replacements. They are well made and are designed to be used with drafting pens having a rebated profile which prevents ink being able to come into contact with the drawing edge and hence cause smudges.

Two lovely large set squares

Bought so I could use it to cut irregular shapes out of thick PVC. The plan was to run a utility knife against this french curve. However, although the main body is reasonably thick, it has a very thin lip to it (which doesn't seem to serve any practial purpose). Because it was so thin, the knife kept cutting into it and slicing it off. After about 10 cuts, the curve became unusable, as it no longer had a smooth edge where this lip has been cut into.Reckon it would be useful to use for drawing and outlining, but not if you want to cut against it.

Whenever I was drawing anything geometrical, or planning a design for some DYI fix, this has been my instrument of choice since high school. Actually, I was still using the one I used throughout high school and college and the 40 years between then and now, made by Faber-Castell.But it was time to upgrade to a nicer, bigger, less beat-up version, and this is it! First test runs have been very satisfactory. I have no doubt that this one, made by Rotring, will serve me well for the foreseeable future. Worth every penny, and more.

La escuadra y el cartabón son de una calidad excelente. Vienen en una funda de plástico un tanto precaria pero cumple su cometido. En cuanto al transportador de águlos quizás un poco pequeño pero suficiente para cualquier medición.
