Q: Anyone actually use this on a tent? Or canvas material? Looking to try it for temporary fix for our pop out sides on our camper?

Just put this on my Army Half Shelter. Seemed to adhere great, although the color wasn't a great match. Purchased to replace peeling patched on my Intermediate cold weather sleeping bag I bought as well used surplus 20yrs ago, which came with many iron on patches, some of which are falling off after 20yrs. Near perfect color match for that.

Q: Is the adhesive side the same color as the top?

As I remember, the color is the same on both sides except for the gloss of the glue. I had very good luck with the stuff on old truck seats, a tough application.

Q: To the vendor, are all black varieties waterproof? Which would be closest to a waterproof matte finish black?

This tape is remarkable to fix tears in fabric. I used this for our heavy winter horse blankets and this product works fantastic. I have used it on both sides of the blankets and this is water proof material. I used the dry iron method on the wool setting for the best results. Total thumbs up!!

I do not think this will work on a Bounce house. I would use a heaver adhesive seal. I think the direct sunlight and water environment is the issue. Maybe an auto tire patch could work.
