i'm bought this andis after my $25 wahl was dropped and started screaming like an distressed child. i'm overall happy that i made this purchase. the ~$70 price point was difficult, but i shave my head and facial hair about every two weeks, so it pays itself off in about a couple months or so. the shaver fits nicely in the hand. the size is much more friendly in my opinion switching over from the bulky wahl. the blade is thin, which makes it feel like i can shave with more sensitivity. the sensitivity is helpful because i give myself these haircuts without a mirror, so the audial/tactile feedback is great. the shave is also closer, but perhaps not as significant as i thought it'd be. maybe i'm holding the shaver wrong. there are two downsides that i feel about the shaver. operating for the duration of a full haircut and shave, the shaver gets hot to a difficult to bear degree, but i think it's an acceptable trade-off that comes with the full metal construction. kind of rushed to ending this feedback but the metal loop for hanging felt cheap and felt like it diminshed the perceived quality of the overall product. itd be nice if it matched the build quality of the rest of the product. that's all. quality product.
