Once charged which literally takes a few mins, it lasts for hours. I use it for kidney pain on my back, knee pain and warm hands and feet when it cools enough. Was scared of hotwater bottles as my hands are not steady, strong or flexible due to RA, but the design of this is amazing. The plug mechanism is super easy to use and its quite easy to wrap in a long scarf and adjust to where you want to use it.I am very satisfied with this purchase!

This plugs in quite easily and takes maybe 3 minute to get nice and hot. It has a auto cut off after 15 mins when plugged in. The heat lasts like a normal hot water bottle to there is residue heat after six hours. This is great to relieve pain. It's a handy size to take out in the car and lasts me a whole trip out.

This product was brilliant at first, got to a great temperature that lasted hours. 9 months later, it heats to warmish, not hot anymore and the warmth lasts only a short time. I would not recommend due to this short lifespan.UPDATEI read someone else’s review about releasing the gas and it works. Unscrew the screws in the plug and you will see a clear plug, take this out to deflate the excess gas that has build up over time. Take care as the liquid can spill out when doing this. Replace the plug and screws and it works as good as new again!

I've only had this product for a day and I absolutely love it already! It charges super quick, and stayed warm for approximately 4hours. A million times better than a regular hot water bottle! Has a gap running through the centre to place your hands to keep them nice and snug, if it's your hands that you want to heat. I have had back problems for a long time, and normally use heat patches (which cost quite a lot) and hot water bottles (which are only really convenient when at home), to ease muscle pains. Delighted to have a better solution now. Definitely recommend!*EditFast forward a couple of months and there was a fair decrease in how long it would stay warm - it had been between four and six hours, then reduced to two. Another few weeks later, and it wasn't heating to as high a temperature as previously. For about a month, it would only heat for a couple of minutes and remained lukewarm for 30-60 minutes.It has now completely stopped working (after approx 5 months use) - when on charge, the light comes on and the clicking sound is still there, but it goes off almost immediately. It will not charge at all.It's disappointing that this initially appeared to be an amazing product; unfortunately it seems that it isn't built to last.Tried to contact the seller to request a replacement but form will not submit.5 stars reduced to 3 due to the short life span - didn't want to go lower even though it didnt last long, as it really was a great product to begin with.

I was amazed at how quickly this heats up. Plug it in and ready in 15 mins. It doesn’t get red hot like an ordinary hot water bottle but still nice and warm. When I used for the first time it was still warm 8 hours later in my bed. I also like that it can be used like a muff to keep your hands warm. It’s sturdy and very well made. An item that I would recommend to anyone.

Heats up well but what's the point if needing to buy a replacement within 3 months due to the thing not charging.

We were struggling to find an alternative for a relative with care needs. The carers would not deal with a hot water bottle because of scalding risk and our relative needed the convenience of a hot water bottle when sitting or for her bed. Microwavable beads presented other challenges too. When we found this sealed unit it seemed too good to be true, however the unit has worked well for months now with no issues. Plug in for less than 10 minutes and get hours of use. It can be handled without burning and no spills. Lots of other people now have bought them too. We are very happy.
