Rust-Oleum 400ml Painter's Touch Spray Paint Aerosol - Matt Black

This is hands-down the best spray can paint I have used and I have used 3 or 4 other makes. Application is easy, it dries quickly and evenly and there are no colour variations when it is dry. Recommended.

Brilliant stuff - used it to spray a towel rail, sink taps and a shower screen edge as part if a make over which I did about 9 months ago and still looks new. Despite being used in a wet environment it adheres amazingly and has not peeled or chipped. Would highly recommend - does smell strong so use a mask.

I've used the Rustoleum brand before to paint a wooden letterbox and it was really good quality. This time I used it to spray paint IKEA brackets and it wasn't as good. Perhaps the surface needed to be primed better, but the paint would just flake and scratch off at the lightest touch. The finish was matte black which is what we were after. Be careful where you spray, it was raining, so I chose to do it in the garage after constructing a cardboard barrier to enclose the painting area, but despite that, the super fine paint cloud seems to settle from the air, leaving what looks like a shadow on the floor if the garage. I would probably do this in the garden next time!

Originally purchased to spray a floor lamp from gold to black, however lost confidence and didn’t dare do it! Recently decided to use it on an old unit, to see if I could give it a second life before buying new! I was scared to use this in case I made an absolute mess, so it seemed a good idea to try it out on something I wasn’t bothered about ruining! I used this to spray the units stand which was white metal and I’ve got not regrets! It was very easy to use covered well and even. I’d definitely use this again in the future for other projects. Highly recommend

Amazing quality! It dries after an hour, and the smell fades away after a day. Make sure you spray a good distance away from the object to achieve a uniform finish.

Think I’m on my 14th can! Using it for everything. Revamping wooden furniture, updating an old chrome coloured shower door surround, refreshing dated door hardware (internal and external), picture frames, decorative items etc etc. it literally works on anything. Easy to apply, dries quickly and so evenly to leave a wonderful matte finish. Going to try it on my white light switches and sockets next! Don’t hesitate to order it!
