Husband's Favorite Black Licorice
I have ordered this many times for my husband as he loves black licorice. Makes me gag but he loves it. I order 2 to 3 bags at a time, and it always arrives fresh, not sticky, and never dries out. He said it's one of the best tasting black licorice's that he's found.

When you are considered a Licorice snob by some, and this is your go-to brand
The owner of our local confectionery shop we had gone to for years retired and closed his business. We have found that this Wiley Wallaby Licorice is the best black licorice we have ever tried, and we have tried quite a few brands.

Best black licorice ever
Delicious. They are very soft and I prefer a little drier, so I leave the bag open to dry for a few days. I like them so much, I would not buy any other licorice.

So-so!
First, I must acknowledge that the ONLY licorice I like, to date, has been the now-defunct NIBS product for both its taste and texture. So now, I find myself looking for a replacement for NIBS. WWL has a stronger, more intense licorice flavor than NIBS, which I understand had a combination of licorice and anise in its composition. The texture of the WWL product is much softer in composition, yet a stronger licorice flavor. I read certain individuals with health concerns should watch consumption of licorice root, but I do not believe the WWL product to not have higher than a 5% level of licorice root in its composition, for what that is worth.
