Please cap these pens when not in use to prevent the nib from drying out. 2. If you forget to cover the cap lead to the nib dried out, don't worry. You can wet the tip with alcohol or water, then draw a few more lines and it can be used normally. 3. Before using it for watercolor projects, please make sure the ink is completely dry. Thicker nibs take longer to dry completely. **Q: How do these pens measure up to Sakura Pigma Micron?** A: I’m an artist for a living and as a result I’ve used almost all brands of fine liner pens, such as Sakura Pigma Micron, Faber Castell Pitt, Staedtler, Copic Sp, Mr Pen, Prismacolor Premier, Sharpie, Zebra, Uniball, Uni Pin. But these KOUSICOO are by far my favourite. They don’t smudge, water resistant/ quick dry down and it is not expensive. Will repurchase. **Q: Does anyone know how well these micron pen set hold up to water? Im looking for pens that i can use for watercolor pieces.** A: I used these pens for my watercolor projects. They worked just fine. These pens needs to dry completely before applying anything moist! **Q: Do the micron pens bleed through thick notebook paper?** A: No. Mine did not! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Ultra-Fine Point Pens for Precise Writing *by on Reviewed in the United States July 20, 2024* I recently had the pleasure of using the Extra Fine Point Writing Pens, and I must say they have significantly enhanced my note-taking experience. Here are the key features that make these pens stand out:Ultra-Fine Point: The 0.25mm tip is perfect for those who appreciate precision. Whether you’re jotting down quick notes or working on detailed diagrams, these pens allow you to write with remarkable accuracy.Legibility and Speed: As someone who scribbles notes as fast as thoughts come to mind, I appreciate how the ultra-fine point helps maintain legibility. Even during rapid note-taking, my writing remains clear and readable.Smooth Writing Experience: The pens glide effortlessly across the paper. The ink flow is consistent, ensuring a smooth writing experience. No more interruptions due to scratchy pens!Longevity: These pens last longer than other fine-tip alternatives. The ink reservoir seems bottomless, which is a relief during long study sessions or meetings.Jet Black Ink: The deep black color of the ink is not only visually appealing but also highly readable. Whether you’re reviewing your notes or sharing them with others, the clarity of the text/lines is impressive. No Bleeding or Bold Blotches: Unlike some pens that bleed through paper or leave bold blots, these ultra-fine point pens maintain a clean line. Your notes will look professional and tidy.Handwriting Improvement: I’ve noticed that my handwriting has improved since using these pens. The precise tip encourages better letter formation, and the ink dries quickly without smudging. In summary, if you find 0.5mm fine-tip pens insufficiently fine, I highly recommend giving these Extra Fine Point Writing Pens a try. They combine functionality, longevity, and elegance, making them an excellent addition to any stationery collection. These pens truly elevate the writing experience, and I’m confident they’ll impress anyone who values precision and quality . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These Are Pretty Darn Good! *by on Reviewed in the United States May 23, 2026* So I tested each one to see its thick/thinness. I think the selection is pretty good here, it may not seem so noticeable at first, the different thicknesses, but once you put them all down and compare, its a pretty good decrease as they get thinner. I accidently tested the waterproof theory by my cat knocking over a bit of water onto my paper, and they, in fact, did not run at all. I decided to get these for minor black details in my coloring and variety depending on the detail I may have needed, as before I tried to use a sharpie and the lines were too thick for my liking, and I then used a sharpie super fine point but the black was too light and they bled like crazy and weren't waterproof in case of spills. A Pilot pen would have worked but theyre also super fine tip and they were too thin for what I was trying to use them for, while also not waterproof. To be honest, waterproof doesn't really matter too much to me, but I figured its a bonus since one time I was caught in the rain with my coloring supplies and books, so at the least the black won't run in the rain lol. These markers didnt bleed or smudge much either, I had to really hold the paper close to my face to see it. The brush tip is strong, the chisel are strong too, though in my opinion they take a bit of getting used to, and the nibs are short and sturdy as well, so you dont have to worry about them warping or losing shape as you use them, like you would eith some markers. The color is a nice deep black, unlike the sharpie SF. And they do dry fast. I was working quickly making zigzags and as i slid my hand down the page, not a single smudge. I was trying my hand at a sort of embroidered, stitched effect here, and used the chisel 2 and the nib 8 for the small loose threads, and im very happy. I might buy more for my sister who draws and loves to trace whatever she draws with her trusty pilot pens! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Learning Line Weight on a Budget *by on Reviewed in the United States September 18, 2026* Sure, they’re not quite like Sakura pens, but they’re still not bad—especially if you’re learning how to use ink to create different line weights in your drawings or doodles and you’re working with a budget. Now, I CAN’T say whether the ink bleeds through the paper. Since I’ve used markers like Copics and Sakura pens in the past, I just thought it was safer to put an extra sheet of paper underneath my drawing so the ink wouldn’t bleed onto anything else. 🤷🏾‍♀️Regardless, I love having all the different pen sizes to help “highlight” the details I want to stand out in my drawings. For the price, I think they’re worth the buy. 🙂 ## Frequently Bought Together - Muchcute Micro Fineliner Drawing Art Pens: 12 Black Fine Line Waterproof Ink Set Artist Supplies Archival Inking Markers Liner Sketch Outline Anime Gifts Manga Sketching Watercolor Zentangle Kit Stuff - Soucolor 9" x 12" Sketch Book, 1-Pack 100 Sheets Spiral Bound Art Sketchbook, (68lb/100gsm) Acid Free Artist Drawing Book Paper Painting Drawing Writing Sketching Pad for Kids Adult Teens Girls Boys - Nicpro 6PCS Art Mechanical Pencil Set, 3PCS Metal Drafting Pencil 0.5 mm & 0.7 mm & 0.9 mm & 3PCS 2mm Graphite Lead Holder (2B HB 2H) For Writing, Sketching Drawing With Lead Refills Case --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/507656379-muchcute-micro-fineliner-drawing-art-pens-12-black-art-supplies](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/507656379-muchcute-micro-fineliner-drawing-art-pens-12-black-art-supplies) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
