Helps with Eczema and Moisturizing
I was skeptical about a soap to help with eczema since I had tried diff soaps. Surprisingly this does help with that some. For me, I wouldn't say that it cleared the eczema entirely. If the formula was stronger, it may do more. You can take 40 - 60 showers with 1 bar depending on how much you lather up which you don't need that much. The beauty of charcoal soap is it takes the odors away. This is why there's not a strong scent. It's a light minty aroma that smells faded. Be nice if there was a diff aroma to it that's better. The bathroom does end up having the aroma. Best soap I ever had was the charcoal one by Origins. That definitely gets rid of zits even if you had it for a long time and it's deep in skin. This does helps with zits, but not as strong. The darker the soap which is higher in charcoal mixed with the essential oils, the more effective it is. It has to be combo of oils and charcoal to work vs. just charcoal alone.Charcoal alone would take all the body odor that reg. soap can't. It doesn't leave your tub grey or black. There's a simple solution to that. Rinse any where you see it on after shower.I recommend this soap for those who have mild eczema. For the price, it's fair. Will buy again. Anyone with acne issues on face or body, Origins charcoal soap. Worth every penny and will last you a few months. You don't have to lather much.

I love these natural soaps for my finicky skin.
I love this charcoal soap & I love all the natural soaps made by this brand. The charcoal was the first one I ordered & I have bought 3 other types in their product line. Each one exceeding my expectations. I have sensitive skin, no dyes, no perfumes, nothing chemical related, my skin can’t handle it. Especially my face, the wrong soap leads to break outs. I’ve had nothing but good results with all their soaps so far. My skin is dry, but face gets oily, not to mention acne prone. Which seriously limits what I can use, except with these. This charcoal, the sea mud, african black & coconut soap are all wonderful through this product line.

Fantastic soap and a fantastic bargain!
The review is for the "O Naturals 3 Pack Activated Charcoal Soap Black Bar Soap with Peppermint Oil"The reviews for these products all seem jumbled together.I am an adult male with sensitive sikin. I wanted to switch to a lower-priced animal/environmentally-friendly face soap than the expensive ($50-$70/bar) brand-name product I'd been using for literally decades.I found this soap to be awesome! Gentle, yet it does deep clean and the fragrance is pleasant. I saw some other reviews saying the soap doesn't last. I can only assume that might be for other styles of soap, since again, Amazon is jumbling the reviews for a wide range of products. With daily, sometimes twice daily use, a single bar lasted about 8 months, which is comparable to the brand-name product I had been using. And this was a 3-pack for $15! My only regret is not having switched years ago!

Appears Eco-Conscious, but has Palm Oil
My journey to reduce plastic waste led me to purchase this bar soap, notably because it is in bar format rather than body wash. I also like how the bars are not individually wrapped in plastic but rather cardboard sleeves (pictured here). So I put it on subscribe and save and used it for years, but did not scrutinize the ingredients— until now.Upon first glance, the soap’s all-natural ingredient list seemed promising, aligning with my preference for products that tread lightly on our planet. Ingredients like Olive and Coconut oils, alongside Vitamins C and E, suggested a mindful formulation. However, my enthusiasm waned upon noticing Sodium Palmate, a derivative of palm oil, among the ingredients. The palm oil industry is notorious for its adverse environmental impacts, including deforestation, loss of biodiversity, and significant greenhouse gas emissions. These effects cannot be overlooked, as they pose significant threats to global ecosystems and contribute to climate change.Although the soap itself is a quality product that meets the basic need for cleanliness without contributing much to plastic pollution, the inclusion of palm oil—even sustainably sourced—raises important ethical considerations. The challenge of verifying the true sustainability of palm oil adds complexity to what would otherwise be an eco-friendly choice. In sharing this review, my intent is to highlight the nuances of making environmentally responsible purchases. While this soap aligns with the goal of reducing plastic waste and appears to embrace natural ingredients, the shadow cast by palm oil cannot be ignored. I urge the manufacturer to reconsider its use of palm oil, and I encourage fellow consumers to remain vigilant and informed about the environmental implications of the products we support.I’m going stop buying this soap and will find another soap to use because I do not want to contribute to the deforestation of the palm oil industry.
