This is an excellent curtain rod that feels much more substantial than many inexpensive adjustable rods I have used. The gold finish looks attractive without appearing overly bright or cheap, and the simple aluminum finials give it a clean, finished appearance. It is important to understand that the length is adjusted by screwing together individual rod sections rather than extending two telescoping poles. Assembly therefore takes a little longer, especially when configuring it for a very wide window, but the connected sections make the finished rod feel sturdy and stable. The one-inch diameter also gives it enough visual presence for larger windows and heavier curtains. The rod has good tension and feels secure once all the sections are tightened properly. It holds the curtain weight evenly without noticeable bending or sagging, especially when the center support brackets are used for a longer span. My curtains slide smoothly, and the rod remains firmly in place during normal opening and closing. The included brackets and installation hardware were useful, and the assembled rod remained secure once mounted. For a long span, careful bracket placement and use of the center supports are important. I got my first one of these on Prime Day. I have one window I that have setup using Switchbots to open and close my curtains but it has a telescoping curtain rod. They work but do get stuck on occasion. I got this rod to automate a different window. It did two things for me. The rod is solid enough I could expand the entire distance without requiring a middle curtain holder and the bots move across it smoothly. The Big deal was these were a fraction of the cost of ones designed for automation. Even though the second cost more after Prime Day, it was still a bargain to get something of such high quality, looks good and functions the way I need it to. The old telescoping rod is going bye, bye.

Chunky and masculine? curtain rod- solid and easy to install. A level and drill driver would make it much easier. Since I ordered curtains with metal grommets, they flutter if you will, over the screwed pipe connections when opening and closing. If you have tab type curtains it would be silent. Still recommend and I ordered two more.

I absolutely love these curtain rods! They are very well made, sturdy, and have a beautiful matte black finish that looks much more expensive than the price suggests. The style gives off a classic Pottery Barn look, which was exactly what I was hoping to achieve in my home. I liked them so much that I used them throughout my entire new build to keep everything cohesive. They were easy to install, feel durable, and provide a clean, timeless finish to every room. If you're looking for quality curtain rods with a high-end designer look, I highly recommend these!

Very lightweight and easy to assemble. It is very simple looking and isnt bulky. It has great stability, Adhesion, Tension, and Duriblilty. It holds up my curtain with no problem and looks very cute!

So far so good, nice & thick, gives it a modern sporty look in my opinion. Pretty solid look man.

Assembly of the curtain rods themselves are very self explanatory and allow for a lot of adjustment which is great. The included hardware is absolutely trash though. The screws to adjust the distance from the wall for the actual mounting hardware are made of the worst metal possible and with how tight they come from the factory, you’re guaranteed to strip the head of the screw when trying to make adjustments. I would normally say to run to Home Depot or Lowe’s and get your own hardware and as far as the screws that go into the wall, you could do that. But the screws for adjusting the distance off the wall for the brackets are terrible and it’s a complete waste of time to try to match the threads to get better screws. So I would definitely just assume that the distance you’re going to get is however they come from the factory. Writing this review as I am trying to mount it into the wall and am making a trip to Home Depot to buy better screws for it.

Construction is well thought out. Recommend and would purchase again. Pieces fit together in 16" lengths.
