Art Hokusai The Great Wave Framed Japanese Wall Art Building Set - Unique Wall Decor for Home, Room, or Office - Fun Activity for Adults, Ages 18+ - Gift for Men and Women - 31208

I absolutely love the LEGO Great Wave set — it’s one of those builds that feels like art from start to finish. It looks amazing on display and gets compliments every time someone walks by. The app-based instructions were smooth and actually made the build more fun, and once it’s hung up it feels solid and secure. LEGO did a fantastic job turning an iconic artwork into bricks — relaxing to build, beautiful to look at, and totally worth it.

Review: My son got this for his 11th birthday, and he absolutely loved putting it together. The instructions were clear, and it was fun to watch it come to life. The best part is that we could hang it on the wall once it was finished, instead of it just sitting on a table or desk collecting dust. It's such a creative way to invest in LEGO and actually put it to good use. Now it’s a piece of art we can enjoy daily! Overall: Fantastic kit for both building and displaying.

Easy to assemble and it is gorgeous after completed.

Easy to assemble, pretty study and stable, fun to put together!

I haven’t built a LEGO set since I was a kid, but when I saw the Great Wave off Kanagawa had been turned into an Art set, I had to have it. I’ll admit I was initially intimidated by the 1,810 pieces proclaimed on the box, but now that it’s complete after approximately 5 hours, part of me wishes there were more, so the build could continue. Assembling this reimagined work of art was a sublime pleasure. Overall notes: - The build guide booklet was top notch; very easy to follow, and intuitive, especially for the frame. - Building this work had a true flow; everything progressively and harmonically working towards the end result. Watching the waves build and rise up when I would take a step back to look at it was quite inspiring. - The accompanying podcast was incredibly interesting, informative, and made some of the more monotonous/repetitive portions of the build oddly pleasant. I could plug down seemingly endless circular color bricks while learning more than I ever imagined about the history and process of the original woodblock print. - The finished product is astounding, full stop. If you’re an adult who, like myself, hasn’t ventured into the brick world since childhood, trust that this is well worth the cost, and it is time well-spent.

Literally so perfect I almost cried while hanging it. Easy instructions, fun to put together for date night, looks beautiful on the wall. Size is perfect, the colors are perfection.

Perfect lego art piece to add to my collection. The build was simple and fun.

This is such a fun and easy to build gift! The colors are vibrant and the legos are sturdy that they won’t be falling off.

It’s exactly what my Grandaughter wanted for Christmas. She is very happy.

Frustrant il manque un sachet de pieces a l intérieur!

Love the art style. Had a great time putting it together. There was a missing piece, but Lego sent me the piece right away. No complain.

Sem palavras para o capricho desse quadro, é uma decoração única em qualquer ambiente. Chama muito a atenção.

I absolutely loved building this set. It is now proudly hanging on my living room wall and it looks fantastic. The 3D design really stands out and gives the artwork depth that you do not fully appreciate until it is finished and mounted. The build itself was average in difficulty overall, but the background section with the small circular pixel style pieces definitely requires patience and strong attention to detail. That part takes time and focus if you want it to look just right, but it is also very rewarding once completed. I genuinely enjoyed every moment of building this set. It was relaxing, engaging, and satisfying from start to finish. If you enjoy detailed builds and want a display piece that feels like real art, this one is worth it.
