Not waterproof
What I really need in walking shoes is that they're waterproof. On receiving these I wore them in, around the house, and they seemed very comfortable. The first time I went into the local, admittedly very wet countryside, I came home and the front half of my socks were wet. Not waterproof. Useless for my purposes.Hence the one star

Good quality build
Unfortunately I returned as felt a bit too tight for my normal 9.5 (ordered 10) and decided were too expensive for what I was going to use for.
