I have been using the Sincetops CD Player phone mount for a couple of weeks now. I like it, I use it every time I'm in the car, I can even recommend it, and it's not perfect.The reason I purchased the CD mount is a) I'm tired of groping for my phone in the car and b) I have one of the Sincetops out-front bike mounts which I love and highly recommend. I also purchased it because most phone mounts for cars that I've looked at are, in my experience, very flawed. They either fall off the vents, come unstuck from the windshield, don't adhere to the interior material, or adhere too well. But the CD mount seemed like it might do the trick and I knew from biking that the part that connects to the phone case was absolutely solid.The CD mount works by sliding into the CD car slot and it stays there by compressing a spring against the top of the CD slot.The good news, or the Pro, is that 90% of the time everything stays in their place. Click the phone in. Use the lock, or not. Turn the phone how ever you want it and off you go. Very easy.What I did not understand at first, which made sense 30 seconds after getting it, the Con, if you will, is that the CD mount does not insert all the way into the CD slot. It goes in about an inch before it's stopped by a couple of plastic tabs. As the mount is sticking out of the CD slot by a couple of inches, and there is the weight of the phone at the end, there can be a tendency for the mount to jiggle in the CD slot. Even still everything stays in place unless you're on a very bumpy road or if you whack the phone while pointing out the sights outside the passenger window (even the whack didn't cause it to entirely fall out). The CD mount has never fallen out and if I notice it's not in as far as it should be I just push it in. As I said, it's not perfect but it works the vast majority of the time.I'm sure there are mechanical reasons why the mount can't go all the way into the CD slot. Or maybe it's because they want people to be able to play a CD at the same time (as far as I know you can, but I haven't used the CD player in years).And as much as I would like the CD phone mount to be even better than it is I realize that the market for a device so you can look at your phone in a car without holding it is sinking beneath the waves of Android Auto and Apple Carplay. So I express my appreciation for this product as it is, wishing it could be a little better, and if you need to see your phone in the car without having to fumble for it, I recommend giving this product a shot.

Such a pain to Remove phone and you rotate phone clock wise which seems backwards to me. Everything else seems fine.

Bought as an alternative to Quad-lock due to price and it works great, they have bike mounts also making everything is compatible. I ride enduro style mountain biking and its held up awesome.

I purchased the Sincetop mount for my bicycles and really like its ease of use and grip on my phone while riding, so I purchased their car mount for my car. In April 2023, its suction cup broke off. I ordered a replacement in April 30, 2023. Today, May 30, 2023, the suction cup of the replacement mount broke off in what looks like an identical manner.This is very disappointing. The 'clover leaf' that adheres to the phone to couple to the Sincetop mount extends ~3/16" from the back of the phone case which will make it difficult to use the phone, I believe, witha typical car cell phone mount as it would have to accommodate the added depth in addition to the phone and case depth. Removing the phone from its case is not an option as that would rapidly degrade the case and make it unusable on my bicycle as well.As much as I like the bike mount, if you plan on using your phone in your car as well as your bike, I'd look for a different solution.**********Added 6/12/23: I am happy to say that I did receive a refund for the two car cellphone mounts from SinceTop. It took a bit of tenacity and repeated reaching out to them via FB Messanger and email. So they have some integrity if you have patience and are tenacious.Regardless, my review is on the utility of the PRODUCT. The car mount with the suction attachment fails too easily and quickly to earn anything more than a single star.

So, after trying magnets and the more expensive ram mounts...This lil device has worked out great...Bought out of impulse, since I already have their Bike mount...It has worked better than expected in the vehicle and out of the way from dash controls....

I originally bought one for my bike and I absolutely love it! So when I came to need something similar for my car, I figured perfect since I already have the one piece on my phone case. Sadly, the part that attaches to the vent is so short that it’s unstable. Hit a bump and now your phone is on the floor. On my bike I can hit allll the bumps and never a problem. It’s the rubbery prongs that slide onto the vent that is just too short. I’m so disappointed and hope they make a new improved one soon. Also the reason I like it is because attaching in the back means nothing impacting the screen at all.
