I suppose for the price you can't expect much. Comes with no instructions but is easy to work out. The workmanship is poor, a couple of the poles were already splitting and one wouldn't screw into it's hole. The wood feels very light, not much heavier than balsa wood. It holds 3 pairs of mens shows per rack.If you aren't going to be banging the shoes into the racks then it may be sufficient, i suspect in a family household it wouldn't last more than a few weeks.

We weren't expecting this to be good but we were expecting it to at least look like the picture. It doesn't have the circular poles as uprights, we went for the dark wood - it doesn't look anything like the colour in the picture, more a weird grey, and the most hideous part is that it reeks of some awful chemical and was coated in weird little shiny fibres that have left my hands, arms, face and eyes itching. Currently feel like I've poisoned myself and my kids who were sitting next to me as I unpacked it.We have asked to send it back and are awaiting the approval...

I probably should have expected this for £10 but looks and feels like a 10 year old's wood-tech project. It doesn't even align properly and the top shelf has to be forced in because if you screw the columns in, they come undone at the opposite end. My partner and I actually laughed at it while assembling - so it's not all bad. Maybe good for the contents of a giant Christmas cracker...

Much better than I was expecting for the price. Other reviews I have read had said that it was fragile but so far I have found it to be quite sturdy. I can see that if you were particularly rough that the slates would brake but to make this strong enough to withstand careless use would make it far more expensive. Colour is definitely different than the photo being more of a teak than the oak shown.

Easy enough to put together with a screwdriver (not included). It's very light and rocks about a bit but then it was incredibly cheap! It is stable, sturdy and spacious enough for 12 pairs of our shoes and walking boots. Definitely worth the price I paid for it.

As they say you get wot you pay for it does the job for me its hidden in a cupboard for shoes but would not put this on display easy to put together ok for the price

A little bit flimsy but better than others I have had & it was quite cheap. Holds a goof amount of men’s shoes (it’s what I bought it for). Good for the price.

Dimensions on the description are incorrect... It's 58cm wide not 74! I got the blackish colour which again wasn't am deceived anywhere. Material and paint job is below average. I was looking for something to go inside the storage unit as an enclosed shoe track, hence ok, and serves the purpose of giving me some shelves that hold my shoes. Hence retained it as returning or exchanging will mean more effort that I'm not willing to spend. For anyone requiring a certain degree of aesthetic appeal, please don't buy. Otherwise ok.
