Faulty
The first time one of the sensors did not work, I send it back and got a second one. Now this 2nd set, nothing works. I am a mechanical engineer so I know how to handle these things. Very frustrating for my son. Plus the 3 layer of board are not aligned correctly when glued, so it is impossible to assemble, I had to get a knife and make the holes bigger so the pegs can fit.

Creative ideas
The original i received had a faulty led and processor but it was very promptly replaced with one that worked. The parts are extremely fragile. For example, my 8 year old brother broke the fan blades without hardly touching them. The parts are also a bit inconsistent from box to box so colors donโt necessarily match pictures or instructions, and for example the caster i got in the second box did not fit nearly as well as the replacement one - i had to glue it to make it work. The instructions also had at least one error where the connection is labeled backwards for the alarm bell. Overall, creative idea and very illuminating to a child at that age group on the working principles in automated devices, however, there are some serious quality and consistency concerns that should not be, in my opinion, considering the pricing. My last critique is that framing can be a pain to assemble and could probably be replaced by something with less annoying screws.

My son loves it. Good value for money
My ten year son loves it. Built the first experiment with the light dependent resistor (LDR). The mirror supplied was a bit fiddly to catch the reflection though. All in all, it's a fair value for money. One of the components (LDR) has broken off, so will need to solder it on for us to continue building circuits.
