As a mother of 4, I forever searched for solutions to fix annoying shower curtain and drapery rings from sticking and catching on curtain rods. I wanted something that would allow rings to float Quietly and Smoothly across the rods without getting stuck at the joint or dragging across the rod loudly. I tried several Slides, pulls, wands and nothing worked quit like I wanted it to. Our Slide is extra thick with an adhesive sticky membrane on one side allowing it to stick to most surfaces without damaging. Long lasting even with daily use. It will work on most curtain rods including telescoping and fluted rods.Installation: Easy & quick to install. For best results clean the top of the rod with Included alcohol whips. Starting at one end of the curtain pole, gradually remove the Red backing Slide and adhere the Slide along the top the entire length of the rod.

Review: Why Didn’t I Buy This 3 Years Ago!? - Three years ago, I bought a cheap telescoping curtain rod and then paid quite a bit for nice curtains. Every single night, for three years, I have yanked the curtains over the bump, cursing and slowly making my curtains dingy looking and frayed. I have had this tape in my desertcart cart the entire time, but I didn’t want to pay this absurd price. It costs about 4x what I paid for the rod! I recently was so fed up that I posted photos of my window online in a decorators forum and asked others how to solve this issue. I wound up buying a plastic curtain puller rod, didn’t work. Tried making a ramp over the bump out of packing tape, didn’t work. Tried a ramp made out of a tape measure taped onto the rod (haha yes, leave it to YouTube), didn’t work for long. After three years, I pulled the trigger on this. I didn’t realize it does require buying enough tape to cover the entire rod, so be sure to buy one long enough to cover the whole thing. It also comes with some alcohol wipes to clean any dust and oil off the rod and then you just stick this down tape across the rod, just like a sticker. It’s a firm plastic, allowing a smooth glide for curtain grommets to go over it. It stuck right away, even on my skinny cheap rod. The first time I slid those curtains over it - OOOOOH! I cheered out loud. It’s like a warm knife through butter! Smooth, quieter, fuss free, no yanking. I regret I didn’t buy this years ago when my curtain and rod would have been in better shape, but I am beyond thrilled to have it now!!! Absolutely five solid stars! (Though, I wish the seller would lower the price. It should be like $10! But it’s worth it!)

**Q: how plyable is the tape compared to regular tape?  Someone said it's 1.5 inch wide.  I have a 1 inch rod.  The tape is plyable enough to hug the rod?**
A: The tape is not 1.5 inches wide it’s less.  I used it on my 1 inch rod. I love this tape and it goes on smoothly, just take your time applying it.  I also applied it while on the bracket.  Hope this helped you.

**Q: Do we have additional quantity of the 24 ft. ones? ... We need 3 of them.**
A: I bought two for my extra long curtain rods and was just very carefully to apply them touching from end to end and it still works perfectly.

This completely solved one of my daily annoyances: Curtain rings catching on the rod and making a horrible scraping racket every time I opened or closed them. With these, the curtains glide smoothly and quietly with almost no effort. It was easy to install and made an immediate difference.
