These secateurs are a great piece of kit for the garden. I was in need of a good pair as all my others are now ancient and blunt. These are super sharp (be careful of fingers) they managed to cut through finger thick branches easily. The handles are rubber coated and provide lots of grip, and they lock into closed position to avoid any accidents. I love gardening but the job can be tedious if you haven't got the right tools. Now I have I'll be out there all summer. Also very quick delivery, ordered on Monday and they arrived on Wednesday. Thank you Shear Joy. Would highly recommend, may also get more as gifts for my green fingered friends.

I bought these pruners as I am about to start work on my overgrown garden, they arrived in good time and I was quick to use them, to my surprise they were really easy to use.The handle is perfect for my hand size and the blades are razor sharp cutting through the tough branches effortlessly.I was impressed with the solid safety catch which on some other pruners are not as good, but these are excellent.Also the mechanism is nice and supple allowing better ease of use.I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a new set of pruners.

The catch gets in the way so removed it completely as the secateurs kept closing up before required to do so.Not as good quality as I'd expected from the description.

Good product, well made, strong fit for purpose.

Although these secuteurs look the business, I was very disappointed to find that the blade was notched and scored after fairly minimal usage. We are talking about pruning 2 blackcurrent bushes and a bit of dead heading here. Also the mechanism started to stick presumably due to sap although to be fair this was easily dealt with by some WD40.

Quality bit of kit. Am a keen gardener and have brought various secateurs over the years and love these ones. Super sharp, super sturdy and nice and comfy to use.

Good secateurs. Very poorly designed and inconvenient locking system that locks automatically after each cut! Do not buy this product!

I bought these shears as I needed a sharp pair which cuts well based on the reviews. My previous ones felt more like hacking away at branches so I was very impressed when these turned up. They look good, feel comfortable and more importantly, they give clean, precise cuts with the sharp blades. That's all this gardener wants
