So, you have a coat? The Water no longer, beads up on it & rolls off?? The coat/jacket isn't damaged in anyway (holes.. lining coming away etc..etc..)?? Then this, is the stuff you want!! Before Starting... Make Sure That You Clean Out, Your Washing Machine! Make sure, there's no power or liquid residue, in the dispensing tray or in the drum etc... Then you can, continue- Zip up your coat/jacket main & pocket zips etc..(Make sure you empty all pockets....) Measure out, the correct amount of Tech-Wash... Wash on a low heat & on a gentle wash (Not loads (or any) fast spinning!!) Then repeat, using the TX-Direct Waterproofing agent! Let it dry naturally, or if your coat/jacket.. Trousers etc.. allow, tumble dry on a low heat.... Your items, should be back to normal 👍👍... Every now and then, when spot cleaning the odd mucky mark, with a cloth just won't cut it! Wash your item again, just using the Tech-Wash.... Then, in the future if you see no beading again....Repeat, the wash with the Waterproofing agent (if the item is already clean) This stuff works well, just follow the directions, for your item(s) You can also, pop on your rubber gloves, & use this to hand wash (Waterproof) your item(s) 👍👍

Very impressed , good wash quality and super water proofing rejuvenation, hardest job was cleaning the machine beforehand but worth the effort 💯 satisfaction.

Yes not the cheapest but definitely one of the better products on the market. Very pleased and definitely recommend. Coats, dog coats, ski gear, sports gear everything is now waterproof once more. It is effective and does not change anything to material. There is nearly no odour to this product. Follow the instructions and make sure your machine is clean before use.

You have to read the instructions to a letter. Worked very well on 4 jackets and DID renew the waterproofing. You have to clean the washing machine from legacy soap, I recommend a hot wash with a cheap bottle of white vinegar, good for cleaning the washing machine from old soap scum anyway. DO NOT USE VINEGAR NEAR BLEACH! I reckon I can get another 6 coats, so 10 coats total, waterproofed at the rates it suggests using the waterproofer (TX Direct) and then I will be left with about half a bottle of the cleaner (Tekwash). Next time out I can just buy a new bottle of TX Direct. In that sense, 10 jackets waterproofed for less than £15 is an absolute bargain.

So pleased with this purchase now I have used it and tested the product in heavy rain. My paramo coat and leggings are back performing just as well as they did about 13 years ago when I bought them, water just beads and runs off. These large containers mean I have plenty of liquid to wash and reproof them all about 5 times. The process I followed was a wash to clean them, a wash to add the proofer and then a tumble dry in line with manufacturers instructions. Really simple, no hassle.

Super produit pour redonner efficacité aux vêtements techniques. Je l'ai utilisé pour réimpermeabiliser des vêtements de ski et manteau d'équitation qui commençaient à percer. Pour les vêtements très sales comme ceux pour l'équitation j'ai fait une première lessive avec mes produits habituels en suivant les instructions de lavage de l'étiquette mais en mode intensif de ma machine à laver (pour le coup 30 ou 40 degrés sans essorage en intensif). Puis j'ai suivi les instructions de ces 2 produits. Ça a marché nickel: les vêtements sont de nouveau imperméables... et ont regagné leur "respirabilité"! Il faut bien nettoyer le bac à lessive avant. Pas besoin de faire sécher les vêtements entre les 2 lessives. J'ai dû utiliser environ 1/4 de chacun des bidons pour 5 pièces. Les vêtements sentent le neuf après le traitement et sont vraiment nickels.

Es un buen producto para lavar prendas con Gore-Tex o similares y/o con tratamiento repelente de agua, como abrigos de montaña, mochilas, chaquetas de moto....El tamaño de 1L da para 10 lavados (2 prendas por lavado). Es caro pero merece la pena pensado que los productos que lavas deben repeler agua y se pueden estropear con otros detergentes. El recuperador de impermeabilidad funciona, pero tampoco esperes que lo deje como nuevo.

utilizzo questi detersivi ormai da anni e li acquisto su amazon perché è impossibile trovarli a questo prezzo, in particolare il formato da un litro è molto conveniente. Il prodotto è ottimo per lavare a fine stagione le tute da sci e tutti quei prodotti realizzati in goretex o materiali analoghi. L'ideale è fare due lavaggi il primo con il sapone speciale (quello verde) il secondo con quello che dona la nuova impermeabilizzazione (quello viola). Ogni tanto, per non sollecitare troppo la giacca da sci, faccio un lavaggio solo mettendo il detersivo verde nella cassetta del prelavaggio e il viola nella cassetta del lavaggio e programmando la lavatrice, ovviamente con la funzione prelavaggio, sempre a 30 gradi. Ottimi anche usati separatamente ma il procedimento completo rende il capo quasi nuovo. Ho provato anche a restaurare un vecchio pantalone in goretex di mio marito (che metterò io perchè lui è ingrassato!!!) e il risultato è stato molto buono lo ha reso morbido e abbastanza impermeabile (non lo era più). saluti
