Important piece to home automation
I would completely recommend this product for home automation. The Bong Bridge Pro filled in the control of my roller blinds and older ceiling fans. Installed on my Unifi 24 POE switch no issues there, POE works. I have 7 Vertilux AC roller blinds and 2 wireless ceiling fans I use Apple HomeKit with Homebridge to get full coverage or get more functions from devices. Setup of the Bond App was quick and easy and programming the Vertilux remote to Bond was simple. In the Bond app you can Open/Close/Stop and have 1 preset. Also a schedule and grouping for the devices. you can activate homekit in the bond app. In Homekit you can also do the groupings and set automations along with your other homekit devices. The only thing I don't like is you only get Open/Close function for commands. No stop or access to the preset, Also tested the bond homebridge pluggin and you get the same functions open/close. THe scheduling works great everytime closing and opening the blinds. Next I plan to get the Fans added to controll speed and light functions. Also plan to add a unit to a neighbors apartment who has somfy blinds and numerous wireless ceiling fans.

No better than the older Wi-Fi based unit. Doesn't work well ina combined 2.4/5G network.
I'm totally blind! I got this in hope it would be better than the older unit that didn't have a ethernet port on it. It says it is 50MW stronger as far as a signal. In my testing, I found that this didn't work any better at all. To me, this worked the same as far as my ceiling fans still had issues at getting a signal. Also I found that this unit also worked poorly in a combined 2.4G and 5G network when running off of Wi-Fi. The older unit has the same issue. What I did like is the unit could be wall mounted and the ethernet port and power connection is in the back with an lip that hangs over them if you have a laying on a flat area. This isn't a USB C device. So it is a older device that uses Micro USB to power it. I ended up sending it back being it didn't perform any better than the old Wi-Fi device at all in any shape or form. Also if you have a 433MHZ fan that is sene by this controller! If it isn't one of the fan that they know about! Even if the fan remote has a bimming and brighten button for the fan! You cannot program those buttons. You can only do Light on, off, speed options, timer options, fan on and off. Now if they come out with one that doubles the power output 300MW and USB C PD powered that is ethernet network workable and also has the ability to work in a combined 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi network! I'll probably give it another shot. So for the time being, I'll continue using the old Wi-Fi based one and I had to split my network so that the controller will work correctly. It is still hit and miss on controlling the fan. Some time it work and other times it doesn't do to the low power 100MW. The fan remote always works. In either case the LED light did blink so I know that the controller did get the information from the Bond Home servers.

Works very well. Completely replaced my Shade Store Hubs which were worthless.
Replaced my Shade Store Hubs with the Bond Bridge Pro. All of my issues with the Shade Store Hub (e.g. problems connecting with HomeKit, wrong shade status, weak signal between shades and hubs, frequent disconnects) have gone away. I wish I knew about the Bond Bridge Pro 4 years ago when we bought these shades.

Easy to Use - Great Customer Support
The setup took just minutes to identify the three Somfy outdoor roller shades we have. I set up an automation group easily and easily added these shades to my Smartthings hub. The AI (Artificially Impaired) technology known as Alexa is still struggling to respond properly but that is a Bezos problem, not a Bond Bridge problem. Initially, my experience did not start out well. First off, the power supply did not work so I used the POE instead. The set up seemed easy but the shades were not automating correctly. On a Sunday afternoon, I used the "Chat with Customer Support" option on my Bond Bridge Home application. To my surprise, Julie answered the chat within a minute. She helped diagnose an issue with my initial setup that turned out to be a defective unit. I ordered a new one and the replacement arrived within 24 hours.

50/50 Product
The bond prop has worked great for some items but is unable to properly control the Sunsetter awning. The first day I spent about 90 minutes working on it before I contacted tech support. The repeated everything I had already done several time with the same results. Then they said they would have to raise the issue to a higher level. That was nearly two weeks ago and I still have not heard back from them.

Weaker than non-pro Bond
My 2 year old Bond Bridge (non-pro) stopped working after a firmware update, fails to connect to WiFi even after green resetting in multiple times. It's past warranty, so I decided to try the Pro which is wired. Got it set up in the same location of the old Bond, but it can't reach all of my fans that the old one reached. Moved it a few times but it could never reach all of them at once. 3x the price for an Ethernet port but weaker range?! No thanks. Returning.

Works well with Shade Store Blinds
Solved my connection issue with my shade store blinds. I have had this Wi-Fi bridge for 9 months now and all the issues I had with the shade store hub connecting to the blinds is now gone. Blind batteries were discharging more quickly than expected. This has also resolved that as I now believe the discharge was due to the failure of the hub to maintain connection. If you have Shade Store blinds this hub will work. Super easy to connect and set up.
