Titebond 5006 Premium II Wood Glue (1 gallon jug)

This glue is the best I've ever come across for sticking anything to wood. I won't use anything else other than this item. It's quick drying with no stickiness though leaves a little discoloration however that depends on how thickly you put it on.

You read all the reviews, watch all the comparison videos on which wood glue is the best, strongest etc. And this comes in as No1 for a good reason. We have repaired many broken wooden furniture with this and if something was going to break it would wood around it not the repair. Some of the repairs are on high usage furniture and the repair is stronger than the part itself self. Other bonus it doesn’t go off in the bottle as other big brand glues when open and put put back on the shelve.

I used this glue to reaffix the bridge to my guitar after it came loose. So far it has held perfectly. The top of the bottle has a very clever applicator that allows you to squeeze glue out of it without getting it all gummed up. Would be good if you could get a non-US version that measured it's contents in metric units

Used to fix joints on a chair that was coming apart. Did the job well. Best glue I’ve tried for this kind of project. Will be my go to from now on

I’m a homeowner handyman and running out of glue. I replaced a 8oz bottle with a 16oz bottle of Titebond II for a couple dollars more. One bottle will last for months to years, depending on projects. I don’t like large bottles of glue that end up drying out before use. This last one lasted over a year and is still good. Even with top left open a few times. I do try to keep out of sun as had bottles get brittle and break. Took some time reading differences between Titebond glues. Chose Titebond II for extra strength and faster assembly dry time compared to the TB-III. Just saw online, when compared by a master carpenter, TB-II was stronger than TB-III?? Although the TB-II didn’t have the strongest bond strength, figured the wood would break first anyway. I like to glue, clamp, and nail whenever possible. Minimum 1 hour clamp to overnight, depending on wood and project. School shop ingrained in me to never over tighten and squeeze out glue! Titebond is smooth and easy to work with, having a bit of grab when assembling. Easy use nozzle to apply either wide or sideways for thinner glue lines. Pleased with this brand.
