Expensive but saved me from having to buy a new vacuum.
This was exactly what I needed after my original part stopped working. Dyson didn't have this part available for my absolute V6 so I was grateful to find one here. Fits well and seems to work well, I've only used it a couple of times so far. Arrived quickly. Be sure to check that this is the right model for your machine.

Like a brand new vacuum
Previous motorized head was completely worn out and I had considered purchasing a cord free from another manufacturer as I found the price of genuine Dyson products so expensive to replace. I came across this on the Amazon app, and have to say that this is a genuine Dyson product at a reasonable price and it functions perfectly, it like having a brand new absolute V6 all over again. Works great, happy with purchase

Worth getting the original Dyson head - if you can find it at a good price.
Very good motorised brush head. I prefer this original Dyson design to the copies there are. I have used both and they all do the job but this seems slightly more effective.

Genuine Replacement part, but there is a fix!
Genuine Replacement part.These heads generally get replaced when they stop spinning, but if you are savvy, there is a fix.There are wires between the pole connector and the motor that spins the brush which can break. This is usually the problem.If you are able to dismantle the flexi joint then you can get at them and repair with a connector.I chose to replace the head on mine as it needed a new brush anyway, and it was generally looking pretty worn.

Will not fit a V6 abso!ute
This product does not fit the V6 absolute, even though there are advising it does.

Funciona para DC-62
Compré el cepillo para una DC62, si saber con seguridad si funcionaria ya que no és el que venia con la aspiradora. Se para un poco en alfombras de pelo largo, pero hay que decir que és un importante avance respecto al cepillo que llevava la aspiradora de fábrica. No se encalla tanto con pelos,... es mas fácil de limpiar y aspira mejor.

Costa una follia, a pare mio, ma dopo aver comprato e sostituito ben due prodotti sottomarca mi son resa conto che non c’è alternativa.NON E’ COMPATIBILE CON IL V6, ho dovuto smontare le spazzole su entrambi i supporti e sostituire la vecchia con la nuova (ritrovandomi con un motore di scorta, non si sa mai). Non so perchè, ma proprio non si inserisce nel modello di aspirapolvere in mio possesso nonostante descrizione e recensioni confermassero la compatibilità.
