Magical, beautiful, models
MU does not dissapoint with their Coronet series.Be prepared to fall in love with individual pieces as you build, to create a coronet that you cannot stop admiring. Each kit comes with everything you need from gems and emergency glue, to an extensive and well laid out instruction booklet. The primary language in the booklet is not English but I did not find this to be a problem at all.MU Models has a fan for life and I cannot get enough of their models.

A Stunning Crown
This MU Phoenix Crown is simply magnificent. I can't stop looking at it. Every layer is full of beautiful details. Requires some patience to build but every step is challenging and exciting. I really enjoyed completing this project and the result is exquisite. Thank you MU for such amazing models.

Tiny, fragile, tedious, ornate
I’ll probably make another model but not yet. This one took all my patience as I had to walk away quite a few times. It’s pretty. Really pretty. The beads that came in the kit are decent quality. Wish they were all glass instead of plastic pearls. It’s very thin metal so it is pretty fragile and tends to bend out of shape. The instructions weren’t clear. Had to use google translate to understand what pieces I should be using. Some of the pieces didn’t align and I had some trouble understanding what was the front versus the back. They look the same and the graphics weren’t always super clear.Use strong light and something to lift the piece up to eye line and have the appropriate tools. Needle nose tweezers, flat head tweezers, nippers, and needle nose pliers.Good luck!

Tricky but possible
I like the fact that there are two sides available to view. It is a bit finicky to build .

Diagrams difficult to understand and tiny metal tabs are very difficult to insert and bend.
Instructions are in Chinese and diagrams are small, Lighted magnifying glass needed for asembly. Beautiful stamped metal. Hard to hold pieces in place and bend tabs at the same time. Gave up after first page and asked engineer husband for smaller tools and help with assembly.
