I bought it because I thought I can use it to grind directly to the PF but it doesn’t work It didn’t change anything

I had this for a few days and have used it everyday. And, yeah, stops the cling around the nozzle of my Niche! Does one NEED one... not really, but is it a nice addition to the Niche, yes. If you can afford getting it, get it :)

Static is still a problem however for my smaller dosing cup (54mm) than the standard larger Niche one - it does give less fly away for fines. Retention does happen via static to the chute but much improved to the back of the Niche which is the whole point of this. Think its over priced but there are not other choices out there. Many think you dont need it - its a personal choice.

Not essential but I think it’s worth it. I never take mine off. It’s well made.

I have both Niche Zero and Duo, and bought the extension intitially for the Zero to reduce grounds flyaway and static (despite the namesake, I still use a bellow for both grinders and while take care of the little retention that there is, not all of it ends up in the dosing cup). The chute extension fits perfectly onto the Zero (it was designed for it), but the chute diameter is the same on the Duo so it fits on it - but has to sit slighly lower and not flush due to the wider circumference of the Duo body vs the Zero. Wish Crema would design one specifically for the Duo, but even as is it does the job perfectly fine. On my pictures, the not-cleaned-one is the Zero :)

This chute extender was super helpful in reducing the mess caused by static and the high-velocity grinds of the last few beans, throwing grinds everywhere (when grinding directly into the portafilter).
