I have to rebuild my automatic lawn irrigation valve system. Bought 4 of this and made the replacement much more flexible for future repairs. I can shut off individual zone easily now. It has been used for couple months and no leak and without issue.

So far so good, just installed on my new pool filter. They are holding up pretty well.

This is a well built unit, I love that it doubles as a union also. It kills 2 birds with one stone, it seems very heavy duty, and the price was great.

Works great. No leaks. Used on main water line. Water provider requires owner installed shutoff within 3 feet of meter. Passed water department inspection

My husband recently decided to replace some of our irrigation system. Our old shut-off valve for the watering had already had several O-ring replacements so a new valve was due.He said that it was easy to cut the old valve off. He then cemented the new valve in place. The Union Ball Valve provides a smooth and effortless twist to open and close. Being a union valve allows for simple connect and disconnect in case of any future mishaps. Very simple and a short amount of time to install. Additional/replacement O-rings also was provided. My husband used an old mint tin to store the O-rings and placed them in the hole with the value so they would not go missing.

In Florida, things break everyday around the house! Last week, it was the pool auto fill PVC pipe. For some reasons, previous owner did not follow the code that requires adding a pressure vacuum valve before attaching the pipe to the water line. The plumber quoted $800 to fix the pipe and add the vacuum valve, but the problem is, without union it’s very hard to replace those valves later if they break. Then I came across this union ball valve which solved my whole problem. Two birds with one stone! Since it’s a valve, I could get the cheapest pressure vacuum valve without any valves attached, and since it’s a union, I can remove it later and service any part without cutting the PVC. Great product. Easy to turn handle after trying a few times. Doesn't leak, easy to install, extra 0 rings are nice. Used it on a sewer ejection pump. No Teflon tape of pfte compound needed. Solvent weld both ends and tighten. Done.
