With its sleek, modern appearance, it fits seamlessly into a bedroom, bathroom, or utility room—proving that practical storage can also be aesthetically pleasing. What sets the Tota apart is its dual-compartment design, featuring two 45-litre sections with removable tote bags. These bags are lightweight, easy to carry, and make sorting laundry a breeze—eliminating the hassle of separating clothes before washing. This clever setup not only saves time but also reduces the strain of lugging heavy, overflowing baskets around the house.Despite its generous capacity, the Tota maintains a compact footprint, making it an excellent space-saving option for smaller living areas. good baskets just a shame about the steep price
I can't deny i don't like the price i would buy a second for better laundry separation if the price was lower, but i will likely 3D print my next I do like the product however it looks great! it has a sturdy frame with a decent amount of capacity in both bins. The handles for each bag with the fixed plastic rim makes them easy to remove and empty into the washing machine.

Good basket, ok to assemble and easy to remove inner bags but the lid feels a bit cheap and flimsy
It looks good and is exactly what I needed to be able to separate darks, lights & 30c delicates, saving me having 2 laundry baskets in the bedroom. It is big but has saved me space overall. Assembly took me about 30 mins, most of which was spent trying to stretch the fabric over the frame and tuck it in as per the instructions. As other reviewers have said, this is the hardest part, but it does look good when it's finished and the instructions were pretty clear and easy to follow. The individual baskets are really easy to remove and I don't agree with others that the Velcro attaching them to the rim is weak - it seems pretty strong to me, but easily removable if you wanted to e.g. to wash the bags. My only criticism is that the lid seems very cheap and flimsy, made of what I would describe as corrugated plastic, which I feel lets the item down, especially for the price. That said, it does make the lid very light and easy to remove. I've stuck labels on the underside indicating (for my Husband's benefit) which basket is for which type of laundry! Having the logo on the handle ensures you've always got it the right way up. I'm glad I bought it but do feel it is slightly overpriced for the quality of the lid and materials involved

Aesthetically pleasing 😀
I hesitated purchasing this due to the cost. Omg it's in a different league to any other laundry basket. It took me about 30 minutes to make it up and if you follow the instructions exactly, it's straightforward. It blends in well with my decor. I purchased the 90L Ecru trio version. This will last a lifetime. If you go on Joseph Joseph's website, you can purchase spare laundry bags. The bags are made from cotton and can go through the wash. The lid fits perfectly and keeps any smells inside. Once made up, it's solid. There is no carrying handles on the basket itself.

Excellent laundry basket, self assembly required
Had my eye on this laundry basket for a while, but balked at the price. With it on sale, I finally took the plunge and ordered it.The self assembly has very mixed reviews. For me personally, I did find it to be fiddly (specifically, pulling the fabric cover so it covers both the top and bottom rims). I also took the advice of another review on here and used a flathead screwdriver to tuck the fabric into the rims (rather than sacrificing my fingernails!). That being said, it wasn’t a horrendous experience. My bit of advice would be to make sure you use the Allen key to tighten to fabric!! And keep tightening until you can’t do it anymore. I’ve seen a few pics on here of people that have quite obviously not completed this step. I still had some residual creasing (see second pic) but these creases soon dropped out and now it looks perfect (first pic). The actual bags inside were super easy to assemble (just Velcro really), I found them to be a good size and placing the laundry bags back into the main unit has a satisfying thump.Overall would recommend if you can get this on sale, but I absolutely would not pay full price for it.

Fantastic
I'm really not sure why people are saying this is hard to assemble, I found the instructions really clear and it was really simple to put together. If you are having trouble stretching the fabric around the frame make sure that the sticks are in their lowest position. I have the 3 compartment 90liter version and I've found that 30 liters is just perfect for one was and tumbledry (I have a combined machine). Previously I used to over-fill the machine and the wash wasn't as good. The price for this thing is high, even at a 40% discount it is high but it feels really premium and looks great and there isn't really any other options out there which are similar. Very happy with my purchase
