Works fine for assembling 18650 Battery packs
Decided to convert some of my old Black & Decker 18v cordless tools from NiCad to Li-Ion, so I picked up some 18650 cells, an inexpensive spot welder, and some 5s BMS boards, all available here on Amazon. I was debating the best width of nickel strips to get, these worked out nicely. The only thing I needed to do was wrap a small twist tie around the nickel strip so it wouldn't fall apart when I cut off small lengths. The thickness of the strips is perfect even for a small (3.7v powered spot-welder).

Solid connections and best price
This is the thickest gauge most spot welders sold here can handle.. .2mm didn't hold and I have an upgraded spot welder. Easy enough to double up the weld if you think you're drawing moster loads, and they give you enough for 6+ battery builds.
