Question 1

Can this stay out without melting much for a day or so, if I plan to take it on a long flight?

Accepted Answer

H there. Depends what you mean by stay out? It's shelf stable and does not need to be refrigerated. If exposed to very hot temperatures, as a natural organic product, it's possible the chocolate can melt and the sesame oil can separate a bit, but this is mostly aesthetic. If you're bringing on a long flight, it shouldn't be a problem at all as the cabin is generally room temperature or cooler and checked luggage is generally colder. To note, if carrying on your long flight, per any food item, be prepared that TSA may question what it is. Hope that answers your question. Please reach out if not.

Question 2

How many grams of sugar per serving?

Accepted Answer

Each serving is 8g of sugar

Question 3

I see that it's organic. Please enlighten me as to who exactly are the "Organic Certifiers?"

Accepted Answer

Hi GratefulVegan, yes, it is indeed certified organic. On the product page, on the 6th image, you'll see the certifying agency, which is Organic Certifiers, or more formally Organic Certifiers, Inc.

Question 4

Does this taste like traditional halva...or a health food store version? Thank you!

Accepted Answer

Hi there... Happy to answer your question. This tastes like "traditional" halva, but made with very premium and organic ingredients. Though it is likely healthier as a result of better, organic ingredients, and no artificial flavors, we can infer what you mean when you say "health food store version," which is often called halva but is not halva in the "traditional" sense. This is not that. To note, there are many different kinds of halva from all over the world—when we say traditional, we're referring to a specific part of the world, the halva most often thought of from the Eastern Mediterranean area.
