Howard Feed N Wax FW0016 Wood Polish Feed and Conditioner, Orange OIl, Beeswax 473ml (16oz)

A lovely product to use on wooden furniture. Really restored the finish and dries hard. Give great protection and gets rid of water rings. Nice smell too not too waxy.

Really impressed with this product. I used it on an old pine dresser I’d painted off white but left the counter top, door knobs and bottom plinth natural wood. It was looking tired and patchy so I cleaned off the old wax to take it back to bare wood. This product was easy to apply, however I stood the bottle upside for a while before using it as I found it easier to squeeze the product onto the cloth to apply it. The results are amazing, impressed right from the first pass, I could see the difference in the wood straight away, the wood soaked it in. After it was done I left it for an hour, then buffed it up to a pleasing soft gleam. It didn’t need a second coat. I’ve since used it on the wooden frame of a large mirror and a small side table and there still some left in the bottle. It didn’t colour the wood (didn’t want it to) but it to life. It has a pleasant odour, not strong like other waxes I’ve used. Delivery was as described. I’ve given it five stars for value for money, yes the bottle is small but it clearly states how much you’re getting and for £5.99 inc delivery it is good value. It did what it said on the tin. So to me that is value for money. I’ve got half used tins of other waxes that I paid a lot more for and want really happy with the results.

Smells great Covers well No noticeable shine

Great stuff, and a gorgeous smell. Because it is semi liquid I found this so much easier to apply than hard wax. I used it over Howard's Restore a Finish, and it was brilliant. I also used it on untreated wood (side of antique drawers) and it bought out a lovely colour and sheen. It smells not only of the orange oil but also almost chocolatey, and not at all overpowering! Love it, and my antique desk now smells great. A decent sized bottle that seems to be going a long way.

I strongly recommend this for hardwood furniture. It is fantastic for breathing life back into solid oak or walnut pieces that have started to look a bit parched. The finish is smooth, and it really highlights the natural grain of the wood. It smells amazing to! ​However, I would not recommend this for cheap plywood or faux wood surfaces. Because those materials often have a laminate coating, the product cannot soak in, which leaves a bit of a greasy residue. ​For genuine timber, it’s a brilliant choice to keep your furniture looking its best.

Wonderful smell and really nourishing for the wood. I used it inside drawers after refurbishing a dresser along with the wooden runners too. Great value and highly recommended.

I have a few Teak Mushrooms that had lost their appeal and looked drab and lacklustre so upon reading about wood nourishment I decided that I would try a Bees wax product and having looked at a few and read the reviews decided that this one was worth a shot and I have to say I’m rather pleased I did as it’s instantly lifted the beautiful woods markings I’ve never really noticed before and has made the wood lots better and smells real nice with its pleasant orange aroma . I applied 2 light coats as the wood was previously bare root and so sucked all the easy to apply wax gel in straight away and the results are instant with every sweep of the impregnated wax cloth it lifted the wood up like I never thought possible . Excellent product and if you want you can buff it up after treated but I kinda like the look it’s given mine unpolished so all is good . Highly recommend this product as it’s easy to apply and smells great and ultimately looks fab once applied with the benefits of being able to get to the parts you maybe wouldn’t have with a traditional hard wax . Just buy it and thank me later .

I now have two beautiful, antique, cast iron sewing machines. Two bases, one cover. I was extremely careful to make sure nothing made of metal was touched by the polish. Left it on for around 40 minutes. Gently wiped the wood off. Result, not bad. Both bases now look brighter and more like their original colour. The cover was in an ok condition for its age, so I used it on that too. The result was quite amazing. The cover looks beautiful. The 3 stars are simply because I'm not yet sure how long the brightness and condition will last and I need to do it all over again on each piece treated. I also wiped gently over a beautiful wooden sewing box finished in veneers of gorgeous mahogany and mother of pearl. The amount of polish used was minimal. After leaving it, carefully wiped it over and it's gleaming quietly on my table. Yes, after wiping down there did seem to be a damp type of residue which concerned me. So I left it over night and that appears to have gone away. I'm going to be keeping a close eye on all the wood to make sure nothing untoward happens. I'd planned, ultimately, to use it on my spinning wheel which does get used, it's oak and on a mahogany display cabinet. I'll not do that until I can be sure that everything else is ok and has no side effects on the wood.

Utilisée pour entretenir et lustrer le bois (cerisier) de mes congas. Test fait sur celui du milieu sur la photo. Résultat visible : plus brillant, couleur un peu plus foncée et une odeur très agréable d'huile d'orange à l'application. Je recommande ce produit. Merci

Excellent product, works on wood like magic.

Easy to use and smell great. I have not used other product to compare to be fair but i am happy with it because it works on my furniture and speaker cabinets.

Lo utilizo para la superficie de un instrumento musical de madera de arce, y es muy buen producto. Nutre la madera y revive su brillo natural, además de oler muy bien.
