Junior/Children’s Simple Fully Adjustable Elasticated Clip on Y-Shape Braces/Suspenders - 3cm (5-12 Years)

The only reason I dropped a star was because the ends that fasten onto trousers are a little fiddly ( especially for a child ) and they didn't really open enough to clip onto thicker material. Fine for the waistband of jeans or 'smart' trousers though.

Looked the part with my sons fancy dress outfit for a school thing but the clips which adjust the length weren't great quality and didn't hold in place which meant they got loose several times during the day and he ended up getting fed up with them. He came home with them dangling round his waist. Fortunately they were for visual effect not for practical trouser holding up!

Wanted these for a fancy dress costume for myself and my friend.Was sceptical about buying these because of the size but they were cheap enough so I took a chance.I am 5'3 and in my 20's of a slight build and they fit me perfectly when almost fully extended.They are a nice quality for the price and the clips are quite strong. Didn't "ping" off once all evening even when we were dancing around!

These were rubbish I'm afraid. The clips didn't open anything like wide enough to fit trouser waist band in and on one of the clips it wouldn't open at all, so we gave it a GENTLE pull open and it snapped off! Giving 2 stars only because the company gave us a speedy refund, though we did have to pay for return.

Bought blue 5-12yrs for 10 year old. (145cm tall) About 15cm left for enlargement on each strap so plenty of growth space to keep wearing as he grows/gets older. Lovely royal blue colour. Good quality stitch and sturdy clasps. Strong elastic with plenty of stretch. Very pleased.

They fitted my 10 year old on the longest setting, but not sure that they will still fit when he is 12?! They are pretty strong and the clasps are very strong - almost too strong as I think they are more likely to tear the trousers than come open. Overall, met our needs well, but if were to be used regularly I would maybe suggest a more quality item would be needed.

Great quality braces! Purchased for my tall 9 year old son, and fitted famously. The clips are very robust and the elastic itself is sturdy, with a nice decoration, though the pattern is not as pronounced as shown on the product picture. It's a shame that these were purchased for a one off use, though they would be an ideal solution to hold up troublesome school trousers etc.

Fits my child well and keeps child looking neat and proper.
