Great for my dog.
My dog is getting on a bit, (11 years old), she is still very active though. Every so often she loses a bit of condition and starts to look skinny. I have know idea why, but she does have a sensitive stomach and I think perhaps she suffers a little from malabsorption. I am a veterinary surgeon and as a profession we are well known for a lack of perspective when dealing with our own animals, so I ordered up a whole raft of blood tests and they all came back normal. I changed her diet to the burns active and she is now slowly putting the weight back on. I know from previous experience that the burns suits her, he has a lot less digestive upsets on this diet. I do feel that she needs the extra calorie content of the active diet at the moment. The price from amazon was very competitive and the convenience of having it delivered to my door was fantastic. The active dog food does not come in small bags - the 12kg is the smallest option.

Inconsistent recipe batches lately - had to switch
Lifelong customer for our 14 year old springer on this food and on a rolling 2 month subscription with Amazon for years, until we've had to make a switch. The most recent batch of chicken and rice will be headed to the bin because this is the 2nd time in six months where it has effected her stomach badly. The most recent batch and the one before last seems more oily in appearance and larger than normal, it clearly isn't as digestable.. we put it down to an age thing the first time, and thought it was going to be a forever thing.. until a normal bag arrived, and all was well again (solid poops).. then to be disappointed with the latest and last bag we'll order..

Fab food worth the money 😊
Both my labs are on burns active, they are fed twice daily and every other day have a tin of sardines between them, I think this really helps to keep their coat glossy and supports their joints.Having fed them cheaper food previously I have noticed that their 💩 Is so much smaller when having burns, this can be shown in the ingredients, cheaper food is full of maize and wheat which in high volumes is not good for them and basically just bulks out the food and then goes straight through them creating huge💩's!I can't recommend this food enough, my dogs weigh 20kgs and 18kgs and are both very lean and healthy, being so lean is a novelty for labs and my vet cannot praise their condition enough. I must add however that they do not get any human food whatsoever, although the youngest does have a tendency to pinch off the work too given half the chance but knowingly they get nothing!Burns is fab and I couldn't recommend it more highly! My daughter has just got a lab pup and is about to start on burns puppy food which I am hoping will be as successful for hers as it has been for mine!

BURNS IS THE BEST
Superb dog food for my two English springers. My younger one has just come off the puppy food and this is an excellent follow on Plus it's delivered, plus it actually works out a little cheaper than shop bought, plus they thrive on it.
