What a peice of crap.... No wonder it was cheap they should have paid me to dispose of it

The little reel makes a fine jigging reel but unlike most similar reels you can not change it to a left hand wind model. The trigger does allow your jig or bait to free fall very easily. I am disappointed that it can only be right hand retrieve and the clicking sound it makes on retrieve is anything but relaxing. I find any reel that down not have a quite retrieve very irritating. It does nor use an AR bearing and there is no drag. It is either free spool by pulling the trigger or locked down completely when the trigger is released. You could however allow a fish to take line when needed bu palming the reel while pulling the trigger. I have one. I would not buy another.
