Perfect for 24vAC
Used as irrigation control wiring running 24vAC. Worked a treat and also suitable to be used in a damp environment. Did the job and 2 years on, still doing the job!

Tuofeng 12 gauge wire
I mis-read the advert and thought i was buing 12 volt leads for jump starting cars. However the leads have now been used for a different purpose and are a success.Loved their flexibility and delivery was first class.

Hi temp silicone cable
For hot water immersion heaters, use of high temp silicone coated cable is really essential. This enables wiring for direct connection to the adjustable thermostatic controller outlet. Cable coating is supple and wire within is very flexible. 14 AWG gauge is more than sufficient capacity for 13 amp current and 3Kw (240v) demand. The tin coated copper wire has given very good electrical contact. Fitted now for over 3 weeks to an immersion heater (live and neutral poles). Works perfectly without evidence of deterioration or heat stress to the insulation. Adequately meets the demands of the application intended and temperature tolerance specified.

Worth 5 stars but......................
Good cable, very flexible and easily separated for single lengths and it comes on a neat little reel. However, as others have noted, this is essentially 20 metres of twin cable and not the misleading 40 metres as stated. Having said that, I think it unfair to rate this as 1 star because of the length issue. The headline does state '40 Meter Reel (Black 20 M, Red 20 M)'.For DIY and hobby purposes, I would rate this as low voltage usage, say 12 volts or less and is ideal for automobile wiring but taking into account the 7.5 amps current capacity.
