The product worked on my PS1, it was easy to set up. Pro tip: if you don't have an extra block since it does need a power supply, you can use the USB port on the front of your PS5 to power it. It worked perfectly. The screen quality was nice since it lets you adjust it on the adapter or your own TV. I also had no signal issues, so that was great too, and it was compatible with the PS1. I don't have a PS2 currently.

I’m so happy with this! I have a 85” Samsung TV with a Samsung Soundbar and I have been wanting to play some PS2! My Slim PS2 has been sitting on my fireplace collecting dust for a few years now. Yesterday I hopped on Amazon to see if I can find something to take the place of the red, white and yellow cables since my TV doesn’t supports such old technology. I stumbled across this. While reading some of the reviews and doing a little digging, I thought it’s only 15 bucks, if it doesn’t work, I’ll send it back. I was beyond excited when Amazon ran this morning, kinda like a kid on Christmas. I brought the package in and hooked it up. The sweet sounds of the iconic PlayStation 2 start up was music to my ears. It works and looks great. There’s 2 options, wide screen & 720, I obviously went with the 720 but did check out the widescreen option, both look great. Sound is the good old “Dolby Digital”. Haven’t heard any “cracks” in the sound, the video quality look great. The switcher is made with cheaper materials, keep it away from items that produce heat, I probably wouldn’t breathe on it too much, it’s cheap plastic but it does exactly what I need it to do. If it needs a cold ice pack, to keep it cool, then a cold ice pack my HDMI switch will receive.

I have two PS2s that both were displaying in black and white with poor pictures. I ordered new cables that did not fix the problem. I also ordered this adapter with high hopes. This product works great. It displayed in color and greatly improved the image quality. I'm glad to be able to play my PS2 again.

Worked like a champ for my ps1 and my ps2. I like that you can adjust the aspect ratio as well.

Great product for the price. The option to select aspect ratios is nice. I did find some color bleeding with it, but it's a budget adapter, so you get what you pay for. If you're just looking to get the job done at a low price, it works great. If you're look for high image accuracy then spend more.

With the original PS the picture was a little blocky, but that is not the fault of the adapter. It is the low output resolution on the PS. With the PS2 the picture was much better and I had no issues with the audio quality at all. The cables all fit snug with that lovely snap in feel on the PS side. Super easy to use and self explanatory. I love the scaling and resolution selection as well, offering a Have it your way experience. Seems like it will hold up for a long time. It was compatible with my PS OG, PSone, PS2 Fat, and PS2 slim. All looked crispy compared to the analog upscaling on the TV. I did not test with high end upscale devices from Onkyo and Denon.

Absolute piece of junk. First attempt to plug an HDMI cable into the port & the internal hardware dislocated from the housing, leaving the port difficult / impossible to establish a connection with the cable. Furthermore, I have a PS2 slim & it seems to not work with this model at all. Then to top it off, their customer support has been silent. Very very disappointed.

Great adapter for PS1/PS2! Easy to set up and worked right out of the box. The picture quality is much better than the original AV cables, and it connects perfectly to my modern TV via HDMI. No noticeable lag, stable signal, and good audio quality. Excellent value for the price and highly recommended for retro gaming fans. 🎮👍

Ha funcionado perfectamente con mi antigua PS2 Slim y una tele TCL c655. La resolución es baja, pero es que eso es lo que da la ps2. Aún así el modo 720p que tiene el cacharro parece mejorar un poco la imagen y la borrosidad de los bordes, sin hacer maravillas. Es muy buen producto para quien quiere jugar a una antigua ps2 en una tv moderna con sus gráficos propios, pero sin esperar magia. Por lo visto hay otros cacharros que hacen su propio upscaling y mejoran bastante la imagen, pero son bastante más caros y en mi caso no merecía la inversión. NOTA: cuando el dispositivo está enchufado por usb de carga (necesario para que funcione) está "funcionando" y dando señal hdmi aunque la ps2 esté apagada. No es que pase nada, pero algo se calienta y algo de energía gasta. Así que si no se va a usar en X tiempo y se quiere ahorrar eso mejor desconectar el usb de carga.
