Tattler Wide Mouth Replacement Rubber Rings 12 pk

I use these inside of the white BPA-free plastic lids for freezing food in mason jars. The plastic lids are nice and convenient but are not airtight and liquids will leak. These are a perfect solution for me because although I do not can, i do freeze a lot of soups and stews in mason jars. These ensure I have a good seal with no leaks and no BPA!

We have switched over to using Tattler lids. They do cost more money initially, but save money after you use the same lid and ring year after year. I have the white ones and some pink ones. I will never go back to using the metal use only once lids! The Tattle Lids are BPA Free.

This is a great product. I use it to ensure a great seal while using the sippy lids on mason jars. The only thing that would make these better is if they were made of silicone. I found some that are silicone but they are too thick to fit. So these rubber ones are the ones I use every day.

For fermentation, I use these along with wide mouth plastic lids with a drilled hole and airlock. It gives me the ability to ferment right into a wide mouth mason jar pint, quart or half gallon. The rings do the job of ensuring an airtight seal. When I'm done, i just put a wide mouth lid on, and put it in the fridge.Tattler rings were the missing piece in creating a pickl-it style affordable home fermenting system.

These work great . I love Tattler lids because I can a lot of pickles and the brine doesn't eat through these lids and they help the pickles keep their flavor wells

I quit using because of so many failed cans.

We use these lids for canning our homegrown vegetables and such. Haven't had a failure yet!
