Review: Worth the discount! - This chair retails new for about $2,200 so the price for the refurbished version is excellent. The quality was decent, a few scuffs on the hardware and the armrest pads slide a bit too easily but otherwise I have no complaints; super easy to assemble. This is the best chair out there—totally adjustable for height, seat depth, arm height and width, degree and location of lumbar support, and amount of reclining resistance. There is a guide to the various adjustments printed inside the right arm rest - just slide it inward for the guide to appear. As a top-heavy 5’8 woman with long legs, high hips, and some serious back pain, this chair is everything I need to be able to get through a day at the desk.
Review: Don't trust the CHAIRORAMA chairs. - I bought the $600 chair sold by CHAIRORAMA. It seemed too good to be true and it is. Nowhere on the page does it say that it is heavily used and poorly repaired, but it is. The only indication of this is the words "open box" in a small bullet point at the bottom of the descriptio, even though the item is listed as "New" by desertcart. In regards to the issues. It creaks when gently moving it, and the leaning back motion is jerky, like it is ratcheting back. I thought it may get smoother after some time but after a month or so it still has the issue. Additionally the writing is worn off and one of the handles seems to have some sort of animal chew marks on it. The ultimate nail in the coffin, that I couldn't get over, is the black residue that rubs off when lightly touching the sides of it. It was poorly repaired with some sort of cheap black coating, clearly not designed to be used with on chair. It's gotten on my clothes, my hands, my arms, even my cats (which I am concerned about). **Q: What is the difference between stelcase leap and fine mod imports leapblack?**
A: The one I got has a different cheaper silkier cloth fabric and has less padding on the back and seat. Other than that it was in good condition.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Steelcase Leap Black Fabric V2 Office Chair: Multiple Adjustments w/ Lumbar Support

So, I received this refurbished chair—and started using it in my home—on February 6, 2019, but wanted to wait a reasonable amount of time before submitting a review. I have to say, I’m loving this chair. I have back problems (specifically herniated discs) and was previously using a home office chair I purchased from Staples over, well, too many years ago. Needless to say, the Leap chair is a vast improvement considering I telework quite a bit and spend anywhere from 8 to 10 hours a day at my desk and in this chair--not to mention the hours I spend in this chair after work when using my personal computer on my own time. In short, between my Knoll Remix chair at work and this Steelcase Leap chair at home, I’m a very happy camper. To Address Other’s Comments and Concerns: 1. The particular chair I received had neither an odd smell nor a sloppy spray paint job 2. Installation is indeed pretty easy and there are only 3 pieces that slide into one another; however, I’ve not had a need to take the chair apart (and can’t imagine why I would), so I don’t know how hard a task that would be 3. As to the heaviness of the chair, yep, it’s pretty heavy, but you knew that after reviewing the specs, didn’t you—and, yeah, you may need someone to help you hold up the chair when attempting to align it to the arrows on the base of the chair as you put the chair together 4. The armrests do have a little play in them, as in they cannot be locked into position, but they definitely do slide forward, backward, inward, outward and sideways, and all that is working for me 5. I rest my feet on top of the chair’s wheel base all the time—without slippers and without complaint 6. I’m not sure this chair is meant for “resting one’s head” as the model I bought does not come with a headrest, but I don’t like headrests anyway (I’m supposed to be working, not napping) 7. If you find the chair seat slides forward and backward easier when you are not seated in the chair, it’s probably because you haven’t yet properly adjusted the chair to its proper settings 8. Can one see some extremely slight “bunching” in the way fabric was resewn into the seat bottom of this refurbished chair? Sure, I guess. But having never seen a brand-new Leap chair, it’s kinda hard to really notice, in my opinion. But c’mon, it’s a refurb, and it’s about half the regular price! 9. I purchased my chair from “Advanced Teo Sales,” but I think it ultimately came from Madison Seating, for what that may be worth Anyway, I’m happy with my purchase . . . as is my back and my wallet.
